I don't have the time this year to do inktober, but I do want to do something semi-weekly for October. So here's the first entry in "Star Trek characters I think are neat but they're wearing Halloween costumes now...tober." It's Janeway and she's a vampire queen. #StarTrek #STCITANBTWHCN

Finished reading Between Two Fires by @buehlmeister.bsky.social last week and I'm still thinking about it. I love how so much of the horror comes from the setting/time period, and the supernatural elements often just heighten that. Throw a little bit of found family in there and it's *chefs kiss*

A young girl looks up a knight. She asks "This town, is it near a mountain?" The knight replies "no". "A hill then?" she asks. Again, the knight replies "no". "A lake?" "No".

Baldur's Gate, but they're all ensigns on a Galaxy-class starship - #4 #StarTrek #BaldursGate #BG3

Karlach: Hey there, hot stuff. Wanna be my cha'dich?

Shadowheart: Are you in trouble with the Klingon High Council?

Karlach: What? No—I…

Shadowheart: I have not trained with a Bat'leth, though my Lirpa skills may be transferable. My superior Vulcan strength will be an asset, of course.

Karlach: No Shadsy, I was just trying to flirt—

Shadowheart: I lack adequate time to prepare, but with a rigorous regimen of martial combat training and physical conditioning we may still be successful.

Shadowheart: Very well, I accept.

Shadowheart places her hand on Karlach’s shoulder

Shadowheart: May your enemies run in fear.
