After whatever drama of finding out, telling a partner, discussions or thoughts of abortion, we usually quickly resolve into fluff and (frankly) weirdly sexist tropes. The edges quickly get sanded off the pregnant guy (if they weren’t already) and his partner turns into a papa bear trope

Now for a rant from me (insane sicko). One of the things I like about cryptic pregnancy specifically is that it allows the fic to maintain the teeth that most mpreg (ESPECIALLY omegaverse) fics immediately lose.
