Are there any free writing courses that you recommend as being worth the time?

Children report gradually decreasing enjoyment of reading books. Maybe because #Literature including children’s books is oppressed by economic interests & “what sells” gets published instead of “what’s good”. The result is that children don’t enjoy books anymore as these don’t serve their interest

Many people suggested to make shorts or other video formats to promote my #writing. Mind you, I’m not trying to sell anything, I would like some feedback, that’s all. I made this YouTube short youtube.com/shorts/EeFEJ... obviously have no idea what I’m doing. Would love some tips on how to improve💜

NYC taxi drivers are absolutely horrible to women! It was the worst experience ever! Only men liked them. Praise Lyft and Uber as a way safer alternative

“According to a report published in The Lancet, 40% of dementia cases can be attributed to 12 modifiable risk factors: high blood pressure, obesity, physical inactivity, diabetes, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption infrequent social contact.” How are introverts supposed to modify the last one?😫

I need to get this out of my system: traditional #publishing = gatekeeper that thwarts creativity. But I read a lot of self published works promoted on the formerly blue bird website and #Reddit. It’s absolute garbage. Irrespective of genre. Unreadable trash. Dressed up fanfic. What’s up with that?!

My substack has four subscribers and I am not sure how to tell them all that I am beyond stoked. If I could, I’d email each a plate of home baked gluten free chocolate chip cookies 🍪 to express my gratitude. You four people, whoever you are, you keep me going #writers #authors

#writers and #authors, I’m editing the first draft of my novel and my concern is that I seem to be rewriting A LOT. I'm not sure if it's normal, but I'm making a lot of changes... in fact I don't think I'm leaving any paragraphs intact. Normal for a second draft? #amediting
