I love cactus flowers in the summer. Those flowers are so lush and #wide and they bloom thru the most epic thorns in the most epic hot temps. 🔥 #blueskyartshow #cactusflower #flower #summerlove

My sister asked me, "Why would you make a ceramic vase that ends up looking like a real rock?" And my response was, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to make something look like real #stone?" This had so many different textures, glazes, oxide washes, cutting, carving. #blueskyartshow #pottery

My first time trying out the Frozen Pond glazing technique. Decided to use purple as the base instead of the traditional black. This technique was created by Kathy McGuire of Fresno, CA, USS

Resist the temptation to find inspiration from social media platforms, or the web in general. Everything you need can be found nearby. This was a mushroom I found growing from the concrete on my neighborhood street. #mushrooms #dailyinspiration #photography

Tried out a new pulling technique in my pottery wheel. Used both hands outside the pot to pull the clay up. It works! Black porcelain with a matcha matte shino glaze. #pottery #shinoglaze #ceramics #ceramicvase

Disease. Illness. Attacks on the body at the microspoic level. Recent hospital trauma has left its mark on my psyche. In this piece, I tried to capture that moment of infection. The texture was made with real teeth. Imagine being devoured. #ceramics #contemporaryceramics #pottery #art

Chaos glazing? Let my 5yo show you how it's done. 😉 I let my kiddo go wild all over this drafonfruit vase I made. He picked the colors and the types of glazes. Even picked the brushes to use. I just cleaned up the mess 😅 #pottery #potteryforkids #ceramics #ceramicsforkids #ceramicvase #chaosglazing
