The Unite the Kingdom rally was massive. The richest man in the world / owner of X openly incited violence. We can't ignore this and hope it will go away. We must all do a little more: Join a community group and a political party, donate to pro-democracy groups, whatever you can. Share this please.

Just came across some weird anti-immigration nationalist pop rock music on Spotify. It was shit, and I think generative AI. Is this a new thing? to promote ideologies through streaming AI propaganda songs. Music is my refuge, don't tell me this is being weaponised as well!

87% of people want action on climate change. 77% of people support greater taxes on fossil fuel companies and the super rich. A party running on that platform would do well.

On polling day, my opinions on the main parties: Greens: strong message, low reach Labour: Unpopular, but doing some good things Lib Dems: Smart for courting liberal Tories + being pro-EU Conservatives: Intellectually bankrupt (so mimic Reform) Reform UK: populist, a danger to liberal democracy

More than that, they will actively seek to dismantle the sectors ordinary people rely on, the NHS, social benefits, public services, regulation and democracy. why? so a minority of wealthy elites can enrich themselves. Example: America, Hungary and Russia with whom they are ideologically aligned.

I think money in politics and the media is the root problem, particularly for you guys in the US, but also here in the UK. Economic interests of small yet powerful groups hold huge sway, even, it seems, if their interests are profoundly destructive.
