No questions, just more cat pics! Will trade for dog tax (this is Jack Jack the Exuberant Beagle, right now, he exuberantly wants my pizza!)
A tan, white and black beagle laying on a cream blanket and staring up into the camera's eye/my face, begging for pizza and love. Background is a messy living room with floral maroon carpet, dark coffee table and mustard yellow walls.

Why did you finally get around to this, Sally? I'm so glad you asked, invisible conversational partner! Because Harlequin failed to file copyright on 11 of my Sarah M. Anderson romances! So I got the rights back to 4 and put them back out! AND FILED THE COPYRIGHT! (all covers by @skyladawn.ca)

Hi, hello-- *without* wading into any disc horse, I have a copyright question! I am, no joke, finally registering my copyrights! Some older works, some Harlequins failed to register so I got the rights back, made changes and am republishing! IF I'm doing a box set...do I register that separately?
a 3-d book graphic showing 3 books in a single book sleeve. The book spines read Rodeo Dreams in white text on teal, One Rodeo Season in white text on red and Crushing on the Cowboy in white text on blue. The front of the book graphic features each cover, described below, as a smaller badge at the bottom of the cover, while the top says "The Complete Series" "Rodeo Dreamers" "Sarah M. Anderson" and the background image is a sun-kissed field edged in trees with a soft blue sky.

Is this enough leaves? Not enough leaves? TOO MANY LEAVES???
The author wearing her first attempt at a leaf crown, with an acorn cap (which is relevant to the book she's doing this for). The leaves are green, orange and tan, the acorn cap is brown and the author, a white middle aged woman wearing glasses and a silly look, is goofy.

Yarn pic! i got off the couch! Seriously, someone donated their nana's stash and I'm just giving it a good home.
An absolutely batshit quantity of yarn, filling up a white laundry basket and spilling over onto a coffee table, ranging from sock yarn in multiple colors and some still new in wrapper all the way up to blanket chenille in maroon and red, spread out on a maroon red couch. The end table is a mess, don't look at it. The wall is mustard. Seriously, it's a mess.

*deep breath* OKAY I'M GOING IN.
A mess of crochet that is mostly forest green, moss green, autumnal orange, medium brown and light brown, all resting on a mac laptop. Some of the crochet might be recognizable as leaves or acorn caps, or not, it's just all in a pile.

I might've made different life choices, I tell you what. This is my fave picture of Maggie a few months before she died. She was not spicy at all--unless she was at the vet.
An absolutely HUGE orange cat who was so fiesty at the vet that they had to devise a neck brace out of a green towel to hold her head still so that they could try to shoot a gabapentin pill down her throat so they could try to do bloodwork on her. The vet tech is all but kneeling on this enormous cat and the cat is about 20 seconds away from pooping on my shoes.

I finally convinced my mom to let met take Tucker the Asshole (who will be 18 on Halloween) to the vet today, so yes, cat forward today! (I brought him back, even, which she was so sure I would...not?) CAT TAX!
An enormous orange cat facing away from the camera on a tan and orange blanket. He's mad at me because I tried to brush him.

I do not have dice. BUT! I have this magnificent mantis that was living its best life on a mum outside my local library. It was SO LARGE that I spotted it while driving up from, like, 10 feet away and thought, OH! I must take a pic for Seanan!!! I hope this Large Bug helps!!!
An absolutely HUGE praying mantis at least 3 to 4 inches long with a darker green stripe over a lighter green stripe on its abdomen sitting perched atop some sunny yellow mums inside a red concrete container. The mantis was visible from almost 10 ft away, he was so large!

A white, tan and black beagle with a spotted tummy under his white fur sits on a cream couch. He has a teal collar and the wall behind him is teal. He is not looking at the camera but out the window and he is watching the sidewalk because HOW VERY DARE people be on the HIS sidewalk? Also one ear is flipped inside out, very embarrassing for him!

True story, I'm about a month out from doing new author photos and my mom was like, Since you're no longer writing westerns, are you sure you want to keep the hat? And I said, But I'm The One In The Hat? Glad to see the universe agrees with my chapeau choices!
The author, a middle aged white woman, wearing a flat-brimmed black hat, a jean jacket and a pink dress with a bold copper necklace leaning against a tree trunk. It's a great photo but my hair is literally a foot and a half shorter now. Sadly. And also I'm four+ years older now.

May your afternoon be as soft and gentle as a beagle snoring gently in the A/C:
A black, white and tan beagle splayed out on his side on top of a cream and rose floral carpet. He is snoring softly and is so, so sleepy. His nose is pointed toward the camera, front lower center, and his little white paws, front and back, are crossed over each other and he doesn't have a thought in his little beagle head.

I'm thrilled my story "Somebody's Gotta Shovel It" is part of the WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD YET? anthology--16 amazing stories by disabled authors, about disabled characters in various dystopias! Huge thanks to @ellatholmes.bsky.social for putting this together--available wherever you buy your books!
A black cover with a green mushroom cloud in the center of it surrounded by purple-black skies and a few buildings. In front, you can just make out some dark figures, some with canes or crutches. The image is framed by a matching green postal stamp frame. Inside the frame, at the top, is the text "An anthology of disability in dystopia" in small orange font. Center lower left in large white font is the title "Why Aren't You Dead Yet?" and the text in olive green "no offense, but the end of the world isn't exactly a "disability-friendly" event" followed by a doubtful emoji face.

Surrounding the book cover is text and arrows pointing to the cover. The additional text reads "16 disabled authors writing about surviving dystopias!" "Including Sally Sultzman's story, "Somebody's Gotta Shovel It" "The title out here asking the important questions" "Everything from body horror to hope core!" "Available now in print AND ebook where you like to buy your books!"

It's Friday, you deserve a lil' treat--please enjoy this picture of a completely asleep beagle who is actively snoring while 'keeping an eye' out for local, damp squirrels who might dare frolic in the rain (YES IT IS RAINING WHOOHOO!) and no, I don't know how he's defying gravity, either.
a black, white and tan beagle is precariously perched upon the back of a teal chair cushion with his head pointed out through cream sheer curtains so he can, in theory, watch out the window for critters, except he is actively snoring and I do not know how he is not falling off the cushion or the chair? Because gravity is a cruel mistress!

A small/medium sized lace-weight shawl in a semi-striped purple and orange colorway is hanging from a laundry line and framed against a white-sided house. There's a green plant in one corner and a door and a window on the other side of the house. The author, a plump white woman with light brown hair pulled into a short pony tail, wearing a pink top and black pants, models the same purple and orange shawl . It comes down to the top of her butt.

The famous Newsweek Bisexuality cover featuring three bisexuals--two men in gray tees and one woman with short hair in a black suit jacket. Text says Bisexuality. Not Gay. Not Straight. A New Sexual Identity Emerges.

I know Jack Jack the Exuberant Beagle *could* howl more, but it's just so hard to see (hear?) how? DOG TAX
Close up shot of a beagle going gray in the face. He's mostly tan and white in the face and legs and black in the body. He's reclining peacefully (for once) on a cream couch next to a resplendent house plant. Wall behind him is teal.

Show someone who absolutely rocks a hat (not Indiana Jones.) Well. I mean. I *am* The One In The Hat for a reason!
Photo of the author, a middle-aged white woman wearing glasses and a large, flat black hat. I'm also wearing a pink top, a jean jacket and a surprisingly large copper colored necklace as I lean against a tree. I'm smirking in a friendly way and my light brown hair is long and falling over one shoulder.

In case you need it, here's a beagle who's doing better today! (Trust me, there's actually a beagle in all those blankets!)
A tan, white and black beagle head is barely visible peeking out of a mound of cream, black and red blankies as his little noggin rests on the author's lap. A laptop is just visible on the left. He'll come out when it's warm again.

I'm trying to cuddle my sleepy beagle for mental health and in response, he's farting all over me, it's not great! He's lucky he's so cute!!
Image of a tan, white and black beagle looking adoringly up at the viewer, which in no way makes up for the sheer volume of stink he's currently producing. A messy living room is in the background.

I'm pleased to announce that Jack Jack made a resolution was "to catch more critters" and he's starting strong with having caught a squirrel! I was so proud I screamed in delight*! *horror, it was horror, esp. when he tried to carry his "prize toy" inside.
Jack Jack, a tan, black and white beagle, stands in a leaf-strewn, brown back yard against a white fence. Underneath his muzzle is the barely visible tail of the poor squirrel he caught. The oak tree is on the right of the image and the lip of a flower pot is on the left.
