Black caregivers of Black autistic children ages 3-18 are eligible to participate. Caregivers must be 18 years of age or older to participate. The autistic child must have a medical or school-based diagnosis. All participant information will remain confidential. Caregivers will receive a $100 stipend for completing the five FACES sessions. This study is funded by the Institute of Education Sciences.

Left my 3 and 6 year olds coloring while I changed clothes. 3 year old gets frustrated and colors all over 6 year old THEN colors her own back and tells me that 6 year old did it. I couldn’t even pretend to be upset bc that’s a new level of theory of mind!!
