People want zines and tapes and burned cds and little hand made objects. Everyone's tired of streaming and "digital goods" and not being allowed to own anything. We're all sick to death of enclosure.

Just a froggy girl, in a froggy world, making froggy zines.

A handmade frog paper doll that is sitting behind a handmade, cardboard table labeled "Lily Pad Press" with an array of frog-themed zines such as "Songs of the Swamp"; "Tadpole Tales"; "Frog with a Pearl Earring"; "CROAK"; "Of Curses & Kisses"; and finally "Wetland Wisdom".

Self-publishing is a power, it's a gift. You can put whatever you want into your little 'zines and minicomics, absolutely nobody can tell you no. Tell your story, don't worry if it's "good enough", make it anyway.

I'm not great at flowcharts but when you're printing zines on a budget I think we all go through this process.

A flowchart directing readers through the process of determining where they will print a zine based largely on budgeting concerns. Options range from printing at home, going to a makerspace or library, printing locally, using a large company like Mixam, seeking online alternates, corporate theft, and digital distribution.

Today's additions to the science library: "What's a mollusk anyway?" mini-zine and "Mutual Aid & ism" Both by @eveninghawk.bsky.social! Thank you for sending these! They are fantastic! Do you have extra printed zines you'd like to add to the library? DM me!

Sarah holds up two zines, one large and red that says "Mutual aid & ism with people sharing an apple, and a small white one that says "What's a mollusc anyway?" Sarah's holding them in front of the adorably painted Science Library, which has shrimp on the front sitting on blades of seagrass. It's labeled Science Library in pink bubble letters.
