Time to christen my brand new account. I love the 80s twins, if you couldn't tell. I'm uh. Normal about it. #stancest <3

Hey Twitter refugees. If you're an Original Character artist/writer/game dev/etc, consider tagging your stuff with #OCsky so the OC enjoyers on here can find your stuff. I also have some OC feeds (feeds are like custom algorithms and topical timelines) on my profile, in the feeds tab.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

I absolutely love that I don’t get notifications from my reposts, it feels so much cleaner and to the point. Catered to creatives in a way I guess

Hey Skyfolks! Just a reminder: there is no algorithm on Bsky, so us artists and creators rely heavily on RTs to get our work out there. If you see a post from an artist or creator that you like, please RT generously! It helps us a lot ❤️ Thank you!

Reposting this-- Bluesky hides NSFW posts from you by default so you'll miss my work if you don't turn it on: SETTINGS > MODERATION> Set toggle to Enabled ✨ Also be sure to turn on "sexually suggestive (cartoon)" setting: SETTINGS > MODERATION > Bluesky Moderation Service > Set to "off"
