"Why do you do this to yourself, Hermione? You know he still won't remember you after tonight.", her friend said, running soothing circles on her back. Hermione doesn't answer. She only cries and cries until she could cry no more. Then the cycle repeats every Tuesday after. //

He stayed at her steps until she was truly inside. Hermione closed the door and found Ginny waiting inside in open arms. She ran into her and broke down. And when her knees gave out, Ginny took her to the sofa.

He tucked strands of loose hair behind her ears when a gust of wind blew some away. Reaching out, he took her hands in his and brought them to his lips, kissing her cold fingers one by one. Hermione clutched at his coat and raised her toes to peck his cheeks, her warm lips lingering just a little.

but then she looked up and gave him the brightest of smiles. He failed to notice the sheen in her eyes, or the redness beneath them. When the hint of dawn finally came, he took her home. They stood at her porch facing each other, the other not wanting to let the other go yet.

He confessed that she feels warm and familiar; like he'd known him all his life- even confessed that he may be in love. Hermione hugged him tight, her face buried in his chest. He did not hesitate to curl his arms around her. He then bagan to worry when her shoulders started shaking,

on reforms and legislations Hermione was working on, and when the violin changed tunes to his favorite piece, he took her hand from across the table and asked her to dance. They watched the movies after, strolled through the park, then took her by the lake.

"This place serves the best steak in town.", he supplied when they settled on their table. Hermione responds that she knows; she'd been there before with family. He brightens at having picked the right choice. They ate their dinner talking about their work and got into heated debates -

"Very much so, thank you.", he replied cheerily and sat down in front of her. They spent the whole afternoon getting to know each other. The conversations flowed so easily; not a single awkward moment passed. And when the night came, he asked her to dinner.

"Hello, I'm Draco. I noticed you since you walked in and thought that you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.", he said, fiddling with his gloves nervously. "Hello, I'm Hermione. Pleased to meet you. Would you like to sit?"

29 - Free Day // Tuesday From across the coffee shop, he catches her eye. Folding the paper he was reading, he stood, squared his shoulders and marched towards her with a determined glint in his eyes. Hermione looked up to watch him. A small smile tugged at her lips at the blush he was wearing.

The setting sun shone bright orange, giving the whole scene a dramatic flourish. "Is that a- but, how?" She spun to face him, eyes alight with excitement. "Called a few acquaintances. Do you like it?" "Oh, Draco, I love it!" "Good. Leo had a hand to it. Now, my Queen, let me show you the world."

𝙎𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙞 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙖. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧... "Are you ready for your surprise, love?" "Let's see what you've got, Draco. You can't possibly compete with-" Draco removed the blindfold and Hermione gasped. In front of them was a beatiful 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘵, hovering above their balcony railing, awaiting to be ridden.

Draco scooped him in his arms and walked to the nearby settee, gathering Leo comfortably on his lap. Opening the book, 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣, he began to read until he felt the baby sag in his arms. "Thank you, Leo, you just gave daddy an idea.", he said softly, kissing the boy's soft, blonde curls.

Surely he could think of something better than an exclusive one week vacation in Atlantis. Draco felt a soft tug at his pants and he looked down to find Leo, their one-year-old son, holding out a book to him. "Dada. Read.", Leo says in that endearing voice that babies possess.

28 - Free Day // magical objects// magic carpet Draco was running out of ideas. Their 10th wedding anniversary was already one week away and he could not, for the life of him, think of anything that will top off his wife's surprise last year.
