"BLACK SABBATH is every bit the masterpiece today as it was back then." We are kicking off our new series The Look Back (in which Gen Z listens to classic albums for the first time) with the first #metalsky album ever. Read the full piece here: www.sputnikmusic.com/blog/2025/04...

Still need to check out Deafheaven, even if I'm usually iffy on BM-adjacent stuff

No judgements yet, I gotta listen to it first

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 30/03/2025

Oh, hey, that's my review! Yeah, I was absurdly hyped for the new Mechina album

New Tomodachi Life 2, new Rhythm Heaven, more Metroid Prime 4 footage, new Somnium Files, what a fucking Direct

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 27/03/2025

Metroid’s always had incredible art direction, but holy fuck does the Prime series ever go above and beyond (pun intended)

I was so shocked to see him gone entirely, considering he was the only other founding member left. At least Dave Lowmiller does a great job filling the void, his screams on Overwhelming Harmony gave me chills

Here before the Onion closes its doors because no satire can match reality at this point

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the new UI is not it rn, it's too damn boxy 😭

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Never did I think true crime would be the genre to get me hooked on reading again, but here comes Killers of the Flower Moon

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Like I said, this should be obvious, but I'm currently looking into going to therapy, and that's come with a lot of self-examination and re-evaluation of my personal goals. I always worry about how long it's been since my last cover, tweet, stream, review, but it's just not worth doing that, is it?

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

I had a revelation recently that I probably should've had years ago: it's not worth trying to hold myself to a schedule or amount of consistent videos/covers when I don't have the mental bandwith to commit to that rn

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

Once I learn how to metal scream properly... the covers I'll be able to make

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

I can stomach a reply or two to moots on there, but Twitter is just poison for my mental health in the long-term. Doesn't help that the algorithm just constantly feeds me drama LMAO

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

Gonna be going back to lurking on Twitter, but heavy emphasis on lurk. If I'm getting back into covering stuff, I'll need to post there every now and again for promo, but BSky will still be my main platform for pretty much everything else plus promos

"We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty."

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Sorry, this was a very random vent, but I feel like I keep trapping myself in this cycle of creative highs and then dead periods of nothing, and I'm just nostalgic for the old days where that wasn't an issue

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

I miss being creative. I miss being GOOD at being creative

110

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Honestly, most of my covers from 4-5 years ago probably deserve new versions LMAO I’m listening to some of them now and I was SO unpolished with pretty much everything. At least that’s what it feels like, it might just be personal hindsight bias

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

I’ve been thinking of redoing a lot of my oldest covers, now that I’ve improved so much from my older days back in 2020 (5 years ago 😭) Anyways, I was thinking of recovering Saikai by Harumakigohan, Dramaturgy, maybe Black Shout (which was my first ever vocal cover). Just for fun y’know?

100

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Believe it or not, I’m still alive! How’s everyone doing?

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Real talk, why did people not like Age of Ultron again? I'm rewatching the movie and it's honestly just so much fun from beginning to end

100

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

I think the biggest achievement of Marvel Rivals is just that it's endlessly fun. No hero I've played so far feels bad or clunky, the maps are all awesome, you get those classic Overwatch 1 moments of hype as a game draws to a close, and I feel like I could play it for hours

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

My gf sent me a picture of her Thanksgiving fit, and I’ve never missed someone more in my entire life. She looks so stunning, it’s unfair 😭😭

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

I feel like I should start trying to compile year-end lists for music. Best albums, best songs, most disappointing releases, things like that

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Love the design Harley!! Zwitter did amazing!

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

I... wow... yeah, no, you're right Also, this has Skeletor "Until we meet again!" energy

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

I just have an easier time playing Smite, I’ve never been good at the right-click MOBA stuff lol

110

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

How tf do MOBA players learn so many characters? I just redownloaded Smite, and there's so many damn characters to pick from, I barely know how to play 3 of them LMAO

Specifically around 39:44, easily one of my favorite Sam moments

That scene from Campaign 1, Episode 49 where Scanlan sings Trololol at the top of his lungs while rolling in a magical hamster ball

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

I found it to be on the sweeter side, that peach pulls some weight flavor-wise!

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

If you’re looking for a bomb-ass BBQ sauce, this is the one. It’s a bit more on the expensive end, but it’s SO GOOD

110

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Relistening to a lot of their stuff after hearing Searching for Tomorrow, it’s kinda crazy how damn consistent they are even when switching styles repeatedly (just don’t pay too much mind to Color Before the Sun lol)

New album announcement AND a single that calls back to Coheed and Cambria’s classic era? Oh we are SO BACK!

So many people have joined recently, and this has been said a lot, but I think it bears repeating. Likes are fab but (thankfully) this isn’t Xitter. There’s no algorithm here. If you like something REPOST. If you’re a fan of someone’s stuff REPOST. Otherwise it probably won’t get seen.

Me and my gf were watching together, we are both currently furious and feeling ripped off 😭

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

The fact that the fight bored me to tears is the biggest rip off out of all of this. If Jake Paul was gonna win, at least make it entertaining goddammit

What a world where, between new LP and new Poppy, Poppy was the release I ended up enjoying more

100

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

You will not be disappointed, trust me

000

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Nothing could’ve prepared me for how fucking incredible Poppy’s new album was. No skips, a pure stream of energy for 40-something minutes, absolutely incredible from start to finish

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Ngl, it’s kinda surreal to see them be back for real. Like, they’ve returned, this isn’t a dream. I don’t think I could’ve predicted this in 2024

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Point being that Poppy's doing something really fucking right if she can hook people off the bat

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

My gf actually heard They're All Around Us for the first time yesterday or day before, she immediately was hooked. Showed up randomly on her Spotify daylist too, so she was just vibing and suddenly heard "COWARD" blasting through her headphones

110

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Between the return of Linkin Park and the heaviest Poppy music we've gotten since the EAT EP, tomorrow is a STACKED fucking day if you're a metalcore fan
