"BLACK SABBATH is every bit the masterpiece today as it was back then." We are kicking off our new series The Look Back (in which Gen Z listens to classic albums for the first time) with the first #metalsky album ever. Read the full piece here: www.sputnikmusic.com/blog/2025/04...

Oh, hey, that's my review! Yeah, I was absurdly hyped for the new Mechina album

Metroid’s always had incredible art direction, but holy fuck does the Prime series ever go above and beyond (pun intended)

Never did I think true crime would be the genre to get me hooked on reading again, but here comes Killers of the Flower Moon

I had a revelation recently that I probably should've had years ago: it's not worth trying to hold myself to a schedule or amount of consistent videos/covers when I don't have the mental bandwith to commit to that rn

Once I learn how to metal scream properly... the covers I'll be able to make

Gonna be going back to lurking on Twitter, but heavy emphasis on lurk. If I'm getting back into covering stuff, I'll need to post there every now and again for promo, but BSky will still be my main platform for pretty much everything else plus promos

I’ve been thinking of redoing a lot of my oldest covers, now that I’ve improved so much from my older days back in 2020 (5 years ago 😭) Anyways, I was thinking of recovering Saikai by Harumakigohan, Dramaturgy, maybe Black Shout (which was my first ever vocal cover). Just for fun y’know?

Believe it or not, I’m still alive! How’s everyone doing?

Real talk, why did people not like Age of Ultron again? I'm rewatching the movie and it's honestly just so much fun from beginning to end

I think the biggest achievement of Marvel Rivals is just that it's endlessly fun. No hero I've played so far feels bad or clunky, the maps are all awesome, you get those classic Overwatch 1 moments of hype as a game draws to a close, and I feel like I could play it for hours

My gf sent me a picture of her Thanksgiving fit, and I’ve never missed someone more in my entire life. She looks so stunning, it’s unfair 😭😭

I feel like I should start trying to compile year-end lists for music. Best albums, best songs, most disappointing releases, things like that

010

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

How tf do MOBA players learn so many characters? I just redownloaded Smite, and there's so many damn characters to pick from, I barely know how to play 3 of them LMAO

If you’re looking for a bomb-ass BBQ sauce, this is the one. It’s a bit more on the expensive end, but it’s SO GOOD

New album announcement AND a single that calls back to Coheed and Cambria’s classic era? Oh we are SO BACK!

So many people have joined recently, and this has been said a lot, but I think it bears repeating. Likes are fab but (thankfully) this isn’t Xitter. There’s no algorithm here. If you like something REPOST. If you’re a fan of someone’s stuff REPOST. Otherwise it probably won’t get seen.

The fact that the fight bored me to tears is the biggest rip off out of all of this. If Jake Paul was gonna win, at least make it entertaining goddammit

What a world where, between new LP and new Poppy, Poppy was the release I ended up enjoying more

100

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Nothing could’ve prepared me for how fucking incredible Poppy’s new album was. No skips, a pure stream of energy for 40-something minutes, absolutely incredible from start to finish

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Ngl, it’s kinda surreal to see them be back for real. Like, they’ve returned, this isn’t a dream. I don’t think I could’ve predicted this in 2024

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Between the return of Linkin Park and the heaviest Poppy music we've gotten since the EAT EP, tomorrow is a STACKED fucking day if you're a metalcore fan

130

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

Also, also, in more cheery news, I kinda wanted to try doing a "song of the day" thing where I post a song I'm vibing with each day? Just to help me be a bit more consistently active on here

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

I do hope that one day I'll be talented enough to write my own music and lyrics, and record it all. That's all high-key a pipe dream at the moment, and I really wish it wasn't

020

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

Still so hyped for the Linkin Park album this Friday, I’m gonna have that shit on repeat all damn day

I feel like I've entirely forgotten how to stream, but fuck it, we're doing this anyways! Come with me as I try to improve in Black Ops 6 Zombies! I'll be playing both Liberty Falls and Terminus for about an hour www.twitch.tv/saiseistreams #vtuber #vtaite #youtaite

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

With the amount of people that have just gone unbelievably mask off over on birb app, it absolutely reaffirms my decision to make BlueSky my main platform for a while. Holy shit that other place is bad. Anyway, I might do a guerrilla stream later today playing some BO6 Zombies or something, IDK

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

I saw this image in r/scifi over on Reddit, and the comments were nothing but negativity about SW, saying they should just stop making movies. And, like, I get that a lot of recent stuff has been mid to outright awful, but what happened to being optimistic? There’s some cool stuff here!

Random afternoon thought: what’s the most overrated fast food item, in your opinion? Mine’s probably the Big Mac. Sauce was great, but when I had it for the first time, 90% of what I got in each bite was just bread and lettuce

Halloween Horror Nights turned me into the foulest-mouthed cusser, the houses had me yelling “MOTHERFUCKING BITCH” from some of the jump scares 🤣🤣 10/10 experience, I’m so glad I can actually handle it nowadays

An illustration of a white-haired girl in a white dress holding a dripping, bloody red mass in one hand. She is wearing a flower crown and has blood staining her lips and chin.

An illustration of colossal, horse-like animals in the distance while a figure dressed in white flowing robes watches them in the foreground.

An illustration of a man wearing a black turtleneck on a green background framed by thin trees that ripples like a pond and goldfish swimming by. One large goldfish obscures his face.

An illustration of a pink-haired girl wearing white hanfu reaching through a Chinese style archway toward a beautiful green forest. Softly glowing lanterns hang from the ceiling.

Wanting the success that others have but lacking the skill/proper resources/commitment to make it happen A painful tale as old as time Note that I am not complaining about where I am, I’m feeling very comfy with my smol community, but even still… I sometimes wonder “what if,” y’know?

I should also mention that I honestly feel like, if I wanted to change my design, I’d probably have to change my handle too. Like, SaiseiTunes IS the fallen angel, y’know? Anything different feels like it would be unrecognizable as SaiseiTunes

030

SaiseiTunes @saiseitunes.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

I sometimes wonder if I should change my character to be more representative of who I am now. Like, blue and orange fallen angel was created by just entering high school me. I'm not just entering high school now. I'm a very different person.
