Not for free right? So, let's do the math. 500,000 metric tons of diesel is about $500 million. A million worth $1 billion dollars. This looks an aid program for Russia and an effective disabling of US sanctions. This strengthens the Kremlin and is a threat to US, allied interests.

The International Criminal Court enforces the Geneva Conventions and other international laws of war against genocide and illegal actions of governments. Trying to cripple it is basically saying, we're looking for ways to violate international laws without consequence. Like crippling the US DOJ.
