16 DOES NOT say they will enslave experts. It says "Retaining Jewish scholars and experts in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, and civil and military industry for a period of time...." So the only genocide is by Israel on the Palestinians. translate.google.com?sl=ar&tl=en&...
Google Translate. Left side is Arabic of recommendation 16. Right side is English translation. English translation reads:

Retaining Jewish scholars and experts in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, and civil and military industry for a period of time, rather than allowing them to leave with the knowledge, science, and expertise they acquired while residing on our land and consuming our resources—all at the cost of our humiliation, poverty, disease, deprivation, slaughter, and imprisonment.

The specific claims you make are in reference to recommendations 15 and 16. 15 DOES NOT state they would kill ALL the Jews. It states they would fight combatants, try criminals and give peaceful people a choice to integrate or leave. translate.google.com?sl=ar&tl=en&...
Google Translate. Left side is Arabic of recommendation 15. Right side is English translation. English translation reads:

15. Regarding the treatment of Jewish settlers in the land of Palestine, a distinction must be made between the combatant who must be fought; the fugitive who may be left alone or prosecuted for crimes; and the peaceful, surrendering individual who may be integrated or granted a grace period to depart. This is a matter that warrants careful consideration and the application of the humanitarian spirit that has always characterized Islam.

PR wouldn't prevent that. The CPC would support it as they currently are. They haven't force the Libs to get support from other parties. The voting system wouldn't make a diff. What might have changed is that there'd be less floor crossers b/c the CPC vote was just 2% less than the Lib vote.
Stats from 2025 Federal Election in Canada. Liberal, got 43.76% of the vote, CPC got 41.31% of the vote.

The Genocide Convention - which Canada, UK etc. are signatories to - REQUIRES intervention when there is a THREAT of a genocide. By openly lying and denying the genocide, these nations put politics above int. law and human rights.
Under the 1948 Genocide Convention, a state's obligations begin before a genocide happens. Most of what applies at the "threat" stage comes from Article I, as interpreted by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), mainly in Bosnia v. Serbia (2007).
What signatory states are obligated to do when genocide is threatened
They must act to prevent genocide once there is a serious risk of it. The duty to prevent starts when a state knows, or should normally have known, that there is a serious risk of genocide. It does not wait for genocide to begin or to be proven.
They must use all means reasonably available to them. This is a "due diligence" standard. The more influence a state has over the potential perpetrators (political, military, economic or geographic ties), the more it is expected to do. A close ally or major arms supplier has heavier obligations than a distant state with no leverage.
The duty applies beyond their own borders. A state's obligation to prevent is not limited to its own territory. It covers situations elsewhere where the state can exert influence.
They must not help potential perpetrators. A state must not provide aid or assistance (weapons, funding, logistical support) that contributes to genocide. Knowingly assisting can amount to complicity, a separate violation.
They must criminalize and punish the early-stage crimes. Articles III and V require states to outlaw and punish conspiracy to commit genocide, direct and public incitement to genocide, and attempted genocide. These crimes happen before genocide is carried out, so they are central to the threat stage.
They must act within international law. The Convention does not authorize unilateral military intervention. States choose their own lawful measures, such as diplomacy, sanctions, halting arms transfers, or action through the UN.They may call on the United Nations. Under Article VIII, any party may ask competent UN organs, including the Security Council, to take action to prevent genocide.
They may take the matter to the International Court of Justice. Under Article IX, a state party can bring a case against another state party and ask for urgent "provisional measures." In The Gambia v. Myanmar, the Court confirmed that any state party can bring such a case, even if it is not directly affected, because every party has an interest in compliance.
They must comply with ICJ provisional measures. Orders the Court issues to prevent genocide are legally binding on the states they are directed at.
They must extradite, not shelter, suspects. Under Article VII, genocide and related acts may not be treated as "political offences" to block extradition.
Important limits
The obligation is about effort, not results. A state is not in breach just because genocide occurs despite its efforts. It is in breach if it failed to take reasonable steps it could have taken.
Legal responsibility for failing to prevent is only established once genocide actually occurs. The duty to act starts at the risk stage, but the ICJ held that a state can only be found liable for breaching it if genocide is later committed.
No specific action is mandated. The Convention does not say which measures, such as sanctions or arms embargoes, a state must use. That is left to each state, judged against its capacity to influence.
Some states have reservations to Article IX. These states have to consent before an ICJ case can proceed against them, which limits the court route in some cases. The United States is one example.
I'm not a lawyer, and how these duties apply to a specific situation is often contested. The ICJ's Bosnia v. Serbia judgment (paragraphs 428 to 438) is the clearest primary source if you want the court's own reasoning.

Retirement was only a temporary diversion born of pure boredom. Yet, driven by our enduring passion for the craft, we return not out of necessity, but to reclaim our dominance and for the love of the game. And yet another bizarre question to ask the public. It's like they want the public to define policy. How would the public know how to answer this question? Such an abrogation of responsibility. Who created this survey?
How should a serious AI incident be defined, and what information would be most useful to better understand the causes and consequences, as well as the mitigation, of these incidents? How could reporting requirements be structured to encourage proactive disclosure of AI incidents and also address concerns around confidentiality and liability?
000
Saeed Khan @saeedwkhan.bsky.social · 05/09/2026
Yes. And questions like this? How would an average Canadian answer this with any substance. This seems like a survey designed for industry and not people. i.e. so business can further influence decisions and not Canadians.
Are existing market practices and legal frameworks sufficient to support transparency around AI interactions? If not, where do gaps remain and what actions (e.g., regulatory measures, guidance and codes of conduct, standards and technical solutions, research and development, literacy initiatives, procurement requirements) do you think the Government should take?
100
Saeed Khan @saeedwkhan.bsky.social · 04/09/2026
Since you guys are so hot on AI, I asked one to analyze the survey. Here's some of what it said. This is a very flawed survey. The missing options part is telling. Why is fixing Health Care NOT a focus? Barely mentioned in the survey? It gives me little confidence that Carney will listen to us.
This is a well-built consultation instrument for the purpose of validating a pre-existing agenda. It is a poor instrument for finding out what Canadians want in the budget. The two are different jobs, and the design consistently serves the first.
The tell is the gap between Question 1 and everything after it. Q1 asks what your actual financial problems are, and the option list is honest: rent, food, bills, debt, dental, gas. Then Qs 2 through 10 offer solutions drawn almost entirely from measures the government has already announced. Nothing in the design connects your stated problem to the choices you're then given. Someone who picks "cost of food," "paying bills at the end of the month," and "debt repayment" finds one loosely relevant option in the rest of the survey ("bring down costs for Canadians for everyday essentials," which is undefined). Diagnosis and prescription come from two different documents. The missing options
This matters more than the wording. Options that don't appear can't be chosen, and their absence shows up in the results as low public priority. What's absent:
Interprovincial trade barriers. Absent from Q2 and Q5, despite being one of the most prominent federal economic files of the past two years.
Crime, bail, and policing. Q9 asks about "stronger and safer communities" and offers financial crime twice, plus online safety, homelessness, hate crime and Indigenous services. Violent crime, bail reform, guns, drugs and border security are absent. Results will imply Canadians don't rank public safety highly. They were never asked.
Immigration and population levels. Absent entirely, from the housing question, the youth question, and the economy question, despite being among the most salient issues in Canadian opinion right now.
Demand-side housing policy. Q10 is builder-facing: development charges, building codes, modular construction, developer financing, enabling infrastructure. Foreign and investor ownership, short-term rentals, multiple-property taxation, and public/non-market housing at scale don't appear.
Health care access. Wait times and family-doctor access appear as one option among nine in Q3, wrapped into a bundle. In most public polling this is a top-two issue.
Deficit and debt servicing. Absent as a concern in Q1 and as a priority anywhere.
Foreign ownership restrictions in telecom, banking and airlines. Missing from Q5, though it is the structural fix most discussed by economists on exactly that question.
010
Saeed Khan @saeedwkhan.bsky.social · 04/09/2026
Here's another weird question. Why is there not a "None of the Above" or "Other" option here? Do you actually want our input or are you just collecting data to support what you've already decided? And it is a REQUIRED question. Why. I don't want to answer it because I don't like the choices.
