I don't know, I think this is a breakthrough. I feel like I would read this comic.

This is a mixed Mighty Men & Monster Maker/Fashion Plates image on Fashion Plates paper. We have the superhero head and torso/arms; he has a ray gun and gloves with lightning bolt trim as well as a kind of cap on the head. The shirt has a background floral pattern from the Fashion Plates. The rest of the body is the Fashion Plates poodle skirt with saddle shoes. In the background is a wavy pattern from the Fashion Plates and some kind of electronic boxes from the MM&MM. The skirt, gloves, and headpiece are coloured in hot pink; the shirt is in lighter pink, and the trim of the cap and gloves is gold crayon.

The benefit of the Mighty Men and Monster Maker is that in my opinion you can adapt it to mix and match with Fashion Plates with a small effort on your part. The downside is that Fashion Plates is a better quality product than the MM&MM, so you'll never get a super clear rubbing off the MM&MM.

This is a mash-up of the Mighty Men and Monster Maker with Fashion Plates, on Fashion Plates paper. The head and torso are from the MM&MM (brain alien weirdo/ape man breaking free) and the skirt and background stars are from Fashion Plates. The Fashion Plates lines are higher off the base, so they make a much better, clearer rubbing than the MM&MM.

This is a four-panel composition in ink. In the background and behind the panels is a large storm cloud which pours rain. A lightning strike happens on the right of the page. The first panel has an angry looking woman dressed as a bride. She carries a bouquet of meadowsweet, lilies, and geraniums. This is in black and white but they are orange lilies, if you get my drift. In the background of this panel is my painstaking Arabic lettering. The next panel is a lady's hand plucking a petal off of a flower. In the third panel is the Goddess Venus or Aphrodite, depending on which you like most. She is in a seashell that floats in the ocean (and She does not have a navel because She was born from the foam of the sea). In the last panel you see a lady's leg and bare foot splattered with blood because she has just beheaded a dragon, whose head is in the foreground of the panel and whose neck is in the background. The viewer can also see the sword, which is dripping blood. A final plume of smoke rises from the dragon's open mouth; its eye is cloudy. This is titled "ATU 300" which is better than "Fuck You {Redacted First Name} {Redacted Middle Initial} {Redacted Last Name}, You Dumb Bitch," which is what i was saying while I was drawing this.

I made this digital collage for Fernandina Meth-Gators #6, which I put out last September. It's funny that I have been thinking about the ideas that inspired this collage again now that September has rolled around once more.

this is a digital collage on a lavender background. there are pirate coins, shark's teeth, a small key similar to the type that would come with a diary or child's lock box, smarties candies, marbles, a plastic barrette in the shape of a butterfly, a pink ribbon, gummi bears, starburst wrappers, a Brownie Girl Scout patch, a fountain pen, and two 1980s stickers, one with spaghetti and meatballs that say "Super Stuff!" and one with a Cabbage Patch Kid that says "Cutie-Pie". These are in various places in the collage, layered over a paper bag from Publix supermarkets that reads, "Here are some tips in the event a hurricane approaches", a handkerchief, a photograph of a woman walking a baby alligator on a leash, and a crumpled up piece of notebook paper that reads "...the store to pick...-stay home and...door locked - do not ...come over. Love, Mom."

I went to comic book. I bought 3 back issues (uncanny x-men annual 17 & 18, magik mini series #2) and i got this sick print by Matt Lesniewski. He said he uses the .003 micron for the hatching

every now and again there is a very good sketchbook page and I think this is one of them; this is done all in pen and i think i was drawing it on the bus?? it is very loosely based on the depiction of the Goddess in Apuleius' Golden Ass.

this is a drawing of a Goddess in ink (probably a pilot precise rollerball pen); She has "a great abundance of hair, flowing and curling", on Her head "many garlands...and a plain circlet in fashion of a mirror", She has a cloak that is black but shows the stars, and a "vestment of finest linen" but you know, it's not in colour. Anyway She is lovely! And Her service is perfect freedom.

i feel like i encounter a lot of interesting synchronisms, i.e., I was thinking about this print today at work and wondering if I still had the plate for it, and then while scanning this sketchbook there are some ideas hovering around this same concept.
