This came with a roll of respooled Fomapan 400 I bought from China, last year I bought a few rolls using Taobao (an ecommerce site which is China only) using a shipping service to try them out. Also it was a full custom metal cassette (brand new, not a reused one with a sticker on it)

Just checked the high speed train my parents took, apparently they left just a few minutes ago from the station and it's 94 minutes late I dropped them at the station around 2 hours ago, I guess they had the time to take a very long breakfast It's a nice start for their trip to Naples 😅

To be fair it's not just Goodwill, camera shops have crazy prices, when I visited the US in August I saw the same EOS 100 I have (the Elan) on sale for 160$, I paid mine 15$, you can easily find them for 20-30$ on eBay in Europe. In Japan I saw bins full of them on sale in untested condition for 5$

It's not worth 100 bucks IMHO, maybe half that in tested and working condition, even less if untested On eBay there's one for sale for 75$ with manuals, a Canon bag, 35-70mm lens, and Speedlite flash Of course the usual warnings regarding 1980s plastic SLRs apply (they're full of old electronics)
