Did the thing, Holga loaded. Also I'll pretend like I'm a fashionable person and I planned the whole thing with the AGFA roll being color coordinated with the camera

A red and white Holga 120N camera next to an empty canister and cassette of AGFA Vista 100 35mm color film. The blade of a pair of scissors is visible in the left part of the image.

Just filled out my September timesheet. At 12AM on October 2nd. To be fair it's not my company's fault, I do love to procrastinate.

People in the US: "I'm dying and I can't afford to go to the doctor" Me, enjoying universal healthcare: "My GP wants to see me for a visit and get some bloodwork done, nah" (a GP visit costs 0€, the exam has a ~30€ copay that I can get fully reimbursed via an additional insurance I get with my job)

Color film photo of a Lancia Delta HF Integrale in Martini Racing livery seen from the front, parked next to other Lancia rally cars. In the background a white '90s service van, also in Martini Racing livery. The car is a replica of a real factory team car, it has not an Italian plate but a Monaco one.

If you see me shitposting more than usual, I'm waiting for my frozen pizza to finish cooking

Uh Lidl already has all the Halloween merchandise as well as the Christmas panettone/pandoro combo already on sale Nothing new, but seeing supermarket selling Christmas stuff since late September triggers a little my inner Grinch I stopped long ago being a Christmas person, to be honest.

But of course my parents wanted to go to the factory shop where they sell overproduction/bad looking goods for discounts. So they bought a couple of panettoni.. In early October (panettone is a Christmas thing)

Factory store of an industrial bakery, shelves lined with sweet baked goods like panettoni in clear plastic bags.

Conflicted. The only 3 rolls of 120 film I have are ISO 400 (2 rolls of Tri-X, one of Kentmere 400), and I wanted to keep them for this winter But it's Holga Week, and since now I have one, it would be lovely to give it a try I guess I'll make another one of those "35mm respooled on a 120" rolls

I'll enjoy my impromptu elder millennial bourgeois lunch of avocado and Spanish yellowfin tuna fillets in olive oil. (It sounds fancier than saying "there was half an avocado abandoned in the fridge so I grabbed a jar of tuna from the pantry")

A small plate with some mashed avocado on it, next to big chunks of tuna fillets in oil.
On the right a couple of packs of integral crackers are barely visible.

Didn't even realize that France changed the design of their euro coins years ago 😅 I do prefer the older late '90s design. (To be fair I only collect banknotes, and I rarely use cash anymore, I have had a single 20€ note in my wallet for months now. Commemorative 2€ coins are the only exception)

Crap. It just dawned on me that the past summer was the first summer in years, maybe more than a decade, I haven't had even a single mint granatina (which is just shaved ice with a flavored syrup) Mind you, I had a couple of Big Gulps while in the US, so my seasonal brain freeze quota was still met

Now I'd just love to go on a day trip on Saturday, but I do have to go to the post office to finally ship that roll of Velvia, because no one sells the stamp I need, a 2.90€ stamp for heavier mail, they all have the standard 1.30€ one Of course they don't add up right so I can't just buy 2 of those

120

Got my expired film shipment. Basically these were 50% off, which is nice considering a 5 pack of Pro Image here costs the same as a 5 pack of Portra 160 in the US The NP100 I bought just because I was curious about it, expired 3/2026. The Pro Image expired 12/2025, like they wrote in the listing.

Today, in "things we really didn't need": The delivery service that has been used for the parcel I'm waiting on has that real time tracking thing, so you can snoop on the poor delivery driver while he goes around delivering stuff to people, while anxiously waiting for them to start driving your way

Ugh Firefox just updated to 157.0 and now apparently it's mandatory to have a theme with more colors than I'd like on my browser window. Now it's bed time, but tomorrow I'll have to find out if I can just revert to my beloved dark and monochrome UI.

And it's pictures. Can't wait to scan them because there may be the first half decent moon photo I took on film, fingers crossed.

I wasn't in the mood to dev some film. Now I am. So, surprise film developing session!

On a table, Patterson tank with a couple of loose reels, a 35mm film cassette, and other clutter, like a wristwatch, some car keys, and a TV remote control
