Please encourage your moots and favourite artists to enable the mandatory alt text requirement setting where possible! A lot of people, myself included, won't share others' posts when it isn't present. For those that struggle there are the hashtags #alt4me and #alt4you that can help 😊💚

ALT text copied and pasted from the linked website: An infographic titled “How To Write Alt Text” featuring a photo of a capybara. Parts of alt text are divided by color, including identify who, expression, description, colour, and interesting features. The finished description reads “A capybara looking relaxed in a hot spa. Yellow yuzu fruits are floating in the water, and one is balanced on the top of the capybara’s head.”

“Decriminalisation removes the criminal penalties that currently target sex workers and subjects sex work to employment law, enabling us to work together for safety and access basic work rights. Sex workers demand the full decriminalisation of sex work for our safety.”

DECRIMINALIZATION
WHAT: selling sex is decriminalized, buying sex is decriminalized, (non-exploitative) third parties (like drivers) are decriminalized
WHERE: New Zealand, Belgium, New South Wales and Northern Territory (Australia)
IMPACT:
- Sex work is subject to employment law
- 90% of sex workers in New Zealand felt that decriminalization gave them health, safety, and employment rights (Abel, Fitzgerald and Brunton, 2007)
- Fewer sex workers working for managers, more working independently and with others on their own terms (Abel, Fitzgerald and Brunton, 2009)
- Not an end point: must be done in conjunction with other measures for anti-poverty, justice, and rights

Stef Sanjati replied to my insta story It’s actually kinda wild! Im a little star struck, I’ve watched and followed her for several years now. I watched her transition and makeup videos as a baby trans just starting out

Okay ya I got followed by this and "holy tits" and thought it seemed transphobic and strange. Especially the description for "holy tits" saying something like "we don't want to see your dick" loll
