I was able to find slightly higher quality versions of the ad floating around and yeah it's so much more readable. I wouldn't even say this is that much better in terms of compression but it's tons more clear and way less washed out, the original looks like it was screenshotted from a stream or smth

I think that's more on the quality of the image in the post rather than the actual ad. If it had higher fidelity/less compression the shadows wouldn't be so muddy that it's hard to make out the arm holding the shoes at first glance.
