The grief is hitting me but it won't really sink in completely until I get his ashes, prints, and fur from my parents. Admittedly I'm still recovering from losing Stevie... so this has been hard.

I really wish I didn't lose Wiggles this past weekend. Such difficult news and nothing could've been done. I knew the day would come, but not so soon, and not like this. He was so beloved by all who met him.

It's just frustrating to have so much to do with so little energy. The deterioration of my mental health, cognitive functions, and brain health has been gradually getting worse. I have to take care of myself so that I'm still around to make art.

I'm taking steps to recover from a life of abuse and neglect. I feel guilty about taking a long time with commissions. It's a constant worry. 😞 Please understand that I really need the patience. I have had an extremely rough life so far, and only managed to leave a year ago bc of friends.

Blood work came back fine. No diabetes! I think it's safe to say that a lot of my issues are likely tied to chronic sleep deprivation, stress, burnout, grief, and PTSD. I'm genuinely just trying not to keel over from everything...

Just a reminder #furry

A tumblr post by user dragonladdie that reads
"Racism/appropriation of indigenous ppl is RAMPANT in the furry community so let me say some things:
STOP calling ur characters w*nd*g*s. You don’t even have to change the design, just stop calling them that. Call them like. Skull deer or some shit there is no reason for you to be using that word.
Stop using “spirit animal” in referral to ur fursona. This is obvious idk why it even needs to be said.
Stop making “two wolves inside you” jokes. The “two wolves inside you” is in reference to a racist made up native proverb from a white dude.
You aren’t appreciating cultures by doing things we tell u to stop. If you want to appreciate: buy from indigenous ppl, respectfully learn about cultures, listen to native people, and DON’T MAKE EXCUSES."

I'm gonna try something to see if I can raise some funds for bills/meds, so: - Leave a reference of a character(s) you'd like me to sketch! - Preface if you want it to be SFW/NSFW. - Include an idea or vibe you want me to go for. These will be uncolored PWYW sketches, starting @ $20.

I'm going to try to push out some small commissions and sketches, but in the meantime, may I ask for some help/boosts? 💙 I could really use a safety net wrt funds, so anything helps!!

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

This is your reminder that Christopher Columbus was a rapist, genocidal slave trader, a piece of shit who 'discovered' absolutely nothing and should be erased from history. Celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day today instead!

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

I want to tell the story of Wiggles. I had the honor of adopting Wiggles in 2012. He was my first blind cat. At the time, he was estimated to be around 1 or 2 years old. He was rescued from a severe hoarding living situation and as a result, never developed his eyes. But that did not stop him. 💙

Wiggles made me an incredibly happy cat dad. I will never have a cat like you again, Wiggles. 💔 If you're ever looking to adopt, consider a blind/disabled pet. Pets like Wiggles and Stevie (both blind) ought to be given more love. They really deserve the world. Thank you for everything. 🥹

He's helped me through the last decade and more of my life. He came to me in a time where I was struggling with graduating due to agoraphobia and emotional abuse in my household. I will forever be grateful to have spent the past 14 years with you.

He loved crinkle balls made from tin foil. He would get so excited as I made one for him that he would do donuts. Remembering more, I think one of my favorite memories of him was the day I went to bring him home from the shelter. It was a very happy day that I will never forget.

Toofs (closed/working on queue) @sabertoofs.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Every time we had new company, he would rush to the door and be the first to greet them. He would rub on their legs and give headbutts. Wiggles had so much love for everyone he met. He never let his lack of eyesight hold him back, and he got around like any other seeing cat.

Over the years, we learned that he didn't develop his eyes likely due to a herpes virus when he was a kitten. Still, despite having never seen before, he lived a full and happy life. He was incredibly friendly and curious. He was well-behaved, soft, and my best friend. He liked to make friends.
