I have received the good news that I have been elected as a Fellow of the The Linnean Society of London - the world's oldest active biological society. It's not a great image, but you can just about see that the president's chair is backed with crocodile skin.

Such a clever montage, assembled before there were photos of wild #okapi, using a photo of okapi territory (with no okapi), and 2 photos of the same taxidermized okapi from different angles. Only one African image of an okapi found to that point-probably made on demand for Lang. Curious.
