2 rules for today: -Anything bad happens blame it on AI -Any company that says "we have a new great AI tool!" just bully them at this point..

Made some real progress on the Ryu and Toby storyboards tonight. episode one is taking shape 🐾 #webcomic

storyboards for a webcomic. Toby is working on his laptop and ryu asks what he's up to. Toby is excited to explain about his pigistruct technology that will be beneficial to Ryu's situation.

Unfinished storyboarding page. Toby explains more about the belt, Ryu is confused. A deep dark shadow casts above the two friends and they both look up in suprise.

kingdom hearts lookin ass rat goblin doodle thing I’ll name them tonight

Personal doodle of a goblin with big eyes in padded armor and goofy, huge metal boots. They’re wearing a half-dome helmet with a giant hammerhead adorning the crown. The subject is leaning sorta on a large sword.

made up a new gaming term

Kitsch Game

Definition:
A video game fondly remembered and often still played primarily for its gimmick, hook, art direction, characters, or cultural identity rather than for the quality of its gameplay. The gameplay typically ranges from moderately serviceable with major flaws that hold it back from being worth playing beyond its kitsch, to genuinely terrible and poorly designed where it’s a miracle people even like the game to begin with.

Examples:
SPORE - Monster Creator
Kingdom Hearts - Disney Crossover and Lore
Scott Pilgrim VS The World - Pixel Art
Mihoyo Games - Character Designs and Open World

Etymology:
From kitsch (art or design appealing to popular or sentimental taste rather than high aesthetic standards) + game, adapted to describe video games whose cultural or aesthetic appeal outweighs their mechanical refinement.

Clarification:
The term does not imply that a game labeled a ‘kitsch game’ is inherently bad, nor is it simply another way of calling a game overrated. Rather than denying a game’s appeal, it analyzes the source of that appeal. Such games may be serviceable or even enjoyable, but their enduring popularity is driven primarily by aesthetic or conceptual qualities (and in the case of older titles, nostalgic appeal) rather than driven by the strength of their actual gameplay and game design.

So i have this wierd issue with my monitor now and whenever I look at too much of one color in lets say a game i'm playing or even in a movie the screen will blink randomly. Not only this but it just kinda randomly shuts off in the middle of this blinking sometimes. So much fun right?

Remember that you are worth it. You are unique, your art is one of a kind. Don’t allow anyone to make you feel inadequate or that your stuff doesn’t have what it takes. Regardless of how you look, where you come from, how you act. You are worth it and you will always shine because you are unique.
