Thank you! Grab lots of screenshots similar to what you want to paint (use fancaps.net). Do practice by trying to recreate one background, mimicking their brush strokes. Take IRL photos of areas that you want to paint (in my case graffitied alleys) and use as a base for composition.

This is what unlock "lighting" to me: 🔸think on the bounding box 🔸decide what planes will be lit/shade/in what color 🔸use this guide to map smaller planes on the char. I ask this all the time when shading: "is this facing front? is this face left? where's the top planes?..."

Giving a more realistic test on #Spriteloop ; functions and UI are solid! The only points of friction I've encountered for my workflow: - Transform/Scale operation and handles could be closer to the other apps - separated tracks for properties would be helpful #gamedev #indiedev
