And yes, custom games does in fact work. the 1-3 fps is terrible but I have all the relevant logs which provides me a lot of info on where the issues likely are. Splitscreen multiplayer is far closer and honestly that is all I care for V0.09 of Rosette (since campaign is a pain in the ass)

Took about 2 months just to support all the Xbox 360 bullshit, but alas, Rosette finally is able to support much of what was needed. A custom JIT backend was required, x86 needed some special compilation guidelines, special Win32 .dll behavior warranted packages. All required to pull this off!!!

Development progress on Rosette is getting really really far. I am so close to running Xenia Canary with my macOS port, so I can finally finish fixing my macOS port PR to go under 10k lines. x86 to NEON translation with Rosette is insanely good, and it's only gonna get better from here

Anyways relevant meme to me spending the past 24 hours trying to find my app's binary path to no avail!

Some context prior to the alt text. You can write bash scripts that scan parent directories for a file. So if all of a sudden, I can't find said file, you go to the parent directory, scan everything inside of these folders, and then move up, scan everything else.

I literally have it where I scan the folder in which the binary is from, if that fails, go up a layer, and then, go to the giant main directory and scan everything else.

Idk how Nikon did it, but they designed one of the sharpest vintage 135 at f/2.8 lens that I’ve ever seen. It’s sharp at infinity too (although there is some slight focus falloff) at 2.8, which is crazy for a compact lens of this size. Fuck I love my new lens, can’t wait to use it lots more

Getting SDL3 to compile on an ARM Mac wasn’t even that hard, it was the menu system via Cocoa (Objective-C) that had me ripping my hair out. At least now I can begin working on a mini Tic Tac Toe game since I got this PNG to import
