The camera update overviews in these Apple keynotes are always way too long and boring

One of my apps has been *in review* for over a week. Not just submitted for review or waiting for review, but actually in review for 8 days. What's the move here? Cancel and resubmit? Wait it out? Worried I got lost in the App Store sauce

Was recently convinced to switch from Raycast to Alfred, but Alfred was missing a key part of my Raycast setup — so I wrote my first Alfred Workflow! If you're an Alfred + Ghostty user, you might find this helpful (download it from the 'Releases' page):

WWDC keynote thoughts: Loved: - Improving (undoing) a lot of the bizarre Liquid Glass choices - The focus on performance & stability - Core AI and Foundation Models Framework improvements Liked: - A competent Siri - The Safari tab upgrades Meh: - The Siri chat demo - Most of the AI demos

Meet YouHQ - a reference guide for life's important details. For years my "system" for tracking life admin was a single, increasingly unhinged Apple Note. YouHQ solves that. Keep track of info about your home, vehicles, finances, media, and career, all in one place. www.youhq.app

It took 10 days, but app review finally reviewed & approved YouHQ for Mac! Release day tomorrow 😤

4+ days later, the YouHQ macOS app has still not even entered review! The iOS and visionOS apps were both reviewed and approved days ago. I did not think macOS would be the one holding me back 😭

Ryan Token @ryantoken.com · 24/05/2026

After 3 months of painstaking polish & bug fixes*, YouHQ has officially been submitted to App Review 👀 * I mostly just got very busy and was dreading doing the App Store screenshots

With #WWDC26 coming up soon, I'm clearing the decks for the apps I work on in my spare time. Lots of under-the-hood, structural updates for CatchUp, Hot Local Food, and Outrank. Modern SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, SwiftData/Core Data, and more Feels great! Check em out.

I've been using Swift Cloud to write & deploy @swift.org on AWS for over a year. Love the project, but the compiled binaries for Lambda were large Finally contributed back this weekend: got zip size down from ~75MB to ~25MB A 66%+ reduction! Check it out: github.com/swift-cloud/...

I've been doing a *lot* of AI-assisted coding lately, but this weekend I explicitly went all manual again just to reset. So refreshing. Worked on YouHQ, built a simple CLI tool in Swift, spent some time on my zsh config, etc. Feels good

🚨 New app alert! YouHQ: Your life, organized. Where's all my money? What paint color did I use? When's my next oil change? I've kept this stuff in a messy Apple Note for years. So I built a native app to organize it. The beta is live on TestFlight. Drop me a line for access! 👇 www.youhq.app

Very sad to listen to the final episode of Under the Radar with @marcoarment.bsky.social and David Smith. It's the only podcast where I've listened to every single episode, and it has helped shape my career. Thank you both for the insights, inspiration, & thoughtful discussion. I'll miss it

Re-reading the @amazon.dynamodb.me book by @alexdebrie.bsky.social, and I think this is the primary reason why I keep coming back to Dynamo You HAVE to be thoughtful & intentional when designing your data model. That fact alone improves so much about building apps & pays huge dividends over time
