To be clear I don't think individuals "voting with their dollars" is a solution and I believe these companies need to be broken up and regulated by the state. My goals here are to intentionally introduce friction to my tech life and see fewer ads.

I think after worlds I'm taking away that the real villain is UAE. Pogačar is clearly the greatest cyclist in decades but his teams used to be sort of mediocre. Like imagine if he had the support of Bahrain or AlUla instead. Totally different narrative.
