i’m a fan! wonder how correctable Detroit finds some of his stuff in run defense.

a lot of players to like entering Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. some of my favorites that would fit well in Detroit—just not sure who will get to 50: - Zion Young - Jacob Rodriguez - Keionte Scott - Emmanuel McNeil-Warren - Colton Hood - Anthony Hill Jr. - T.J. Parker - Jake Golday - Treydan Stukes

Sonny Styles to Washington is such a good pick.

i didn’t understand the cheating accusations either but i guess that’s what people will claim when they’re jealous

spending a Sunday morning snuggling with my son and watching Batman: The Animated Series is like a top-3 surreal parenting moment, just eclipsed by actually becoming a parent and the moment they string together words to form a thought.

lol i’ll pass along the feedback

Rodriguez, Jacas, and Ponds were all players i'd have been thrilled to choose at No. 50, but that's the business. maybe not the position everyone's clamoring for at this spot, but i *really* like Scott as someone who could immediately compete at nickel/safety--and be an insurance policy for Branch.

with the 22nd pick, Blake Miller was the easy pick--would've been content with just taking him at 17--but hey, another top-100 pick for our troubles! hoping we can find a DE in R2, but open to a DB or LB, too.

2120

alright, well, the board definitely didn't fall our way in the first round! Mauigoa goes No. 3 to Arizona, Freeling to Cincy at No. 10, and Fano went No. 12 to Dallas (thought about moving up here after the Freeling pick, but couldn't get it done without giving up future capital). so we traded back!

i’m thinking like doing a mock draft here for the Lions starting… now? try to finish it before the Wings play in a half hour. let me fire up the simulator and share my picks and brief thought process!

oh, for sure, i think OT is Plan A. but i also found Holmes’ comments about Larry Borom to be more conviction than smokescreen. for my best guess, i think it goes: - OT - DE - DB - Trade back?

DE is the most mocked—and the most likely—but honestly, wouldn’t be *shocked* to see a CB if the value is right. maybe even a bigger SAM LB if the Lions want to stay in more base on defense.

certainly something to consider!
