Can't help but feel nostalgic for a newspaper that still runs a 'Spot the Differences' game.

The first post, dated 1d ago, reads: "BREAKING: Husband killed his wife, six kids before taking his own life in west Michigan, police say". It contains a link to detroitnews.com with a preview image showing a smiling family of eight: a father, mother, and six children. The article headline is "Husband killed his wife, six kids before taking his own life in Grand Haven Township: police" with a sub-headline stating authorities say Kristopher Karolkiewicz killed his family.

The second post, dated 17h ago, reads: "NEW: Reddit account suggests fraught marriage for Grand Haven Township couple in murder-suicide". It contains another link to detroitnews.com. The preview image is the exact same family photograph used in the previous post, except the father has been cropped out of the frame, showing only the mother and six children.

DeepSeek has the data to discuss Tiananmen Square, but the web/app interface has further instructions to prevent it from doing so. When you ask you can see it start to answer factually, and then abruptly stop and replace its response with the one above. Asking in Spanish can get around this...
