Late 2027/Early 2028, Listening to John Curtice on the polling its far too unstable now, gives them 2027 to get some wins in without breaking the manifesto and get the details sorted for social care offering. Also allows the backstop of a 2029 election is all goes to hell.

The real question of the day is will Larry approve of Burnham and allow him temporary access to Larry's official residence #Burnham #Larry #DowningStreet

Clean energy is the cheapest energy. Solar and wind are miles cheaper than anything else.

Social care reform! I know it's going to be messy (and then some) but it's one of them things that really has to be done. Local government and the health service can't really be sorted until you do something with social care

I think I'm losing track of how many of these sort of speeches he's had. They're nice and all but just without anything substantive to back up all the talk of 'tough circumstances', 'labour values' and so on.... I'm a deep Labour supporter and even I'm switching off to Starmers 'big' speeches.

Abolish the lord's. An unelected body cannot be allowed to overrule the elected one

I'd be interested to see a follow on question asking who should pay for it, if they're in favour of keeping it?

We get it BBC you don't like Rachel Reeves... but honestly where was the same level reporting over a tory minister giving legal advise to a company against the UK government, ministers using different names for their buisness crony gate and so on...
