I’m eyeing the 35mm Sonnar-style lens of theirs. My X-E5 came with the perfectly serviceable 28mm lens, so the 25mm pancake probably won’t do much for me, but that weird conical 35 manual focus seems fun!

Thank you! I don’t shoot with a specific ratio in mind. These are all crops I make after the fact. Helps to shoot on an ultra-wide lens with a 40mp sensor! Most of the stuff I post is 4:3, even though my sensor is ASP-C. I just think that format works well on phone screens.

Well, I can’t recommend the x-e5 highly enough, but it is stupid expensive. It’s currently my only camera though, and that’s probably not going to change. I’m optimizing for compactness so I always have what I want with me.

This is why I park at Gaslamp and take the train to and from. Sure, the trolly is packed to the gills, but the traffic along my highway route is pretty clear by then. But yeah, I almost left after the 9th. Glad I didn't!
