Installed DBeaver since I have a friend who I remember using it regularly. Needed a PostgreSQL client to connect to an Azure PGSQL instance (set up for EntraID auth). I'm now uninstalling DBeaver.

And yes I put creator in quotes because if you think applying one of the simplest jpeg or ffmpeg transformations to an image or video makes you an actual creator, you're only fooling yourself. If that makes me a gatekeeper, I'm good with that.

Car dealer: Just passed emissions. Me (plugging in my OBDII scanner): Evap system not ready for emissions. (Automatic fail in AZ.) Car was in that window of time between resetting the check engine light and having enough data to re-light (or maybe not) the check engine light.

Netflix is struggling with keeping viewers "hooked" because it keeps canceling shows after 1 season so no one trusts a Netflix show to last. Its that simple, regardless of whatever their bullshit internal analytics are informing them.

Yeah... I was hooked by the being paid to be educated in a career field. The GI Bill for college was very tasty gravy. I've never seen them advertise barracks as free housing. (And if you rank high enough or are married, you get a housing allowance that might not cover the rent.)

I'm beginning to think Korean TV shows might be the least disappointing thing to watch on a streaming service. They're created to only be one season, so you aren't left wondering if it's getting renewed or will have to wait so long for the next season that you've forgotten the show.
