yeah I’ve been kind of ambivalent of this specific VII discourse but like, the issue is that there is a FFVII which people were good with already. there is no PS1 Horizon game to compare Zero Dawn to when Aloy vocalizes every answer as you enter a puzzle room

Anyway, from the time between production and life responsibilities: Star Wars Zero Company is an all-timer, Onimusha has my favorite combat system in years, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is genuinely my new Autumn Comfort Game. Video games are so so so good.

I have a lot of thoughts on how other creators manage their platforms that I have no interest in expressing publicly, but I'll say I've seen evidence enough that - even if it's tacky - focus on kindness and love for art is genuinely unique in this space and I'm going to hammer it as hard as I can.

This is half a post calling attention to potential milestones, but it's also a chance for me to express again just how grateful I am for where we are and the support I've received. We're not even at six months, and having a community, much less one this kind, changes how I move through the world.

This week has been great for Numbers, with it seeming 6k subs -> 7k could happen in less than a week. And from the business end, Marathon hitting 100k would be game-changing - a channel this young with not just one 100k+ video but two and escalating subs is a totally different ball game.

we're in the early moments of what is will be a years-remembered L here but there are a few people saying "well Sony must have known it was mid" or w/e and like, it's not about how good the game is!! Take-Two's stock price will hit its GTAVI peak a month before GTAVI releases! it's the PERCEPTION!

No matter how PHYSINT turns out this is an L for the history books and this detail is the killer. It was looking like "Xbox cut a bigger check," but "Sony was going to cancel New Metal Gear Solid and Xbox saved them" is so much worse. Kojipro's upcoming slate is now fully Xbox exclusive. Wow.

I would agree with that, yeah! the publishing rhythm is kind of as steady as it can reasonably be right now, but I'm generally trying to put boundaries for feedback a little clearer in recent weeks and it's generally helped
