Anyway, binary is 6 MB (official client: > 400 MB), memory consumption low (~200 MB vs ~1 GB on the official client), it does not spawn 8 sub processes, CPU is 10-20x lower than official and it does only music, which I consider a plus. It does have bugs and I appreciate you reporting them. ;)

If you're using Spotify and a Mac, you may want to try Spotifly, the native client that I wrote. I released a new version last weekend that replaced librespot with something custom in Swift so that I don't have to use C types and avoid duplicating state between 2 things. github.com/ralph/Spotifly

I did a quick research on @deezerdevs.bsky.social and I'm still not sure if moving my macOS app there is even possible, or if it will only be able to play 30 seconds snippets. They have an iOS SDK, but that won't build on macOS, right? 🤔🤓

Aaaaah! The Apple iCloud invoice Email used to be a beautiful 1 page PDF when exported (e.g. for taxes), now it's 2 pages with more text, a button and 5 links that are all useless for archiving purposes. I don't care about magic mice charging ports and Mac mini power buttons, but this pisses me off.

I still wish they had a smaller phone. You can pry my iPhone mini 13 from my cold dead fingers. And if you look at preowned prices, many people seem to agree. The mini is oftentimes as or more expensive than later generation regular models.
