Yep, too good to be true...... My god, can y'all stop relying on slop to make "rollback" for Street Fighter IV? Y'all are massacring this game with the amount of "rollback builds" at this point cause this is probably the 4th one in a row i believe?

Important reminder about these new SFIV rollback mods: They all admit in their own readmes to ripping off codeberg.org/adanducci/sf4e . They just genAI a lobby system over it.

codeberg.org

sf4e

A process-inspection and modification tool for the Steam release of Ultra Street Fighter 4.

Reinstalling Xrd. I always wanted to try to take Sol or Dizzy more seriously...but also it'd stay a side game so maybe just keep playing Raven

I am a trans woman being kicked out of my home. I have a safe place to stay, but it is across the country. I need money to transport myself and a buffer for rent. This is urgent. Anything helps. Kofi: ko-fi.com/xubs045 PP: www.paypal.me/xubs045 0/850 #tramsmutualaid #urgentMA #helpfolkslive2026

Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!

Mononoke was great, especially in a theater, but hot take I liked Nausicaa wayyyy more. I liked Ashitaka and San but not to the extent I wanted to. Nausicaa is one of my favorite leads ever. Still such fun to see major inspirations for a lot of my favorite things play out.

random encounters exist because the combat is fun you are supposed to enjoy it, if you dont enjoy it you should be playing a different video game, i dont understand how this conversation keeps happening

Game design meme for me and maybe three other people on this site.

Guy looking at random encounters: "Wow! RPGs are grindy!"
Text overhead: "Random encounters help ensure that the the play experiences combat at regular intervals instead of avoiding fights and ending up underpowered, increasing the risk of quitting entirely."

Someone was talking about PAC being stoic at meet & greets on Twitter, so it reminded me of this anecdote.

Small child in red flannel and blue jeans standing next to PAC with long hair, wearing black AEW hoodie and shorts. Both are wearing facemasks.

Nolie met PAC at a Dynamite, when AEW was still doing preshow meet and greets.

They both looked each other up and down. Then PAC stoically says “How is your day, little child?”.

When it was picture time, he plainly said “Stand with me in battle” to Nolie.

It was perfect.

Reading Dragons Dogma 2's new director talk about how the friction, inconveniences and considerations Western players enjoy in a fantasy adventure are frustrating to a Japanese audience was really eye-opening. Like I didn't notice it at all until that interview, then saw it everywhere.

Since it's come up a bunch for me lately. Media/Lit analysis and even creating with themes in mind is actually easy. It's like drawing. You just do it. You might lack the skills to articulate an image or an idea or a feeling, and you might not be aware of common tricks and themes, but that's fine!

The regular barrage of these headlines is just crushing. Loving games and caring about the people who make them feels so simple and natural if you’ve been in this field, I have no idea why it’s so out of reach for some people.
