Do any of you are like me? Where we like spoilers? I like to read how an author is going to lead up to the third act. Which is the usual significant spoiler. But sometimes it's the outcome. To me, it doesn't lessen the book to know its outcome when I read it. To see its outcome is worth reading it

When I was 15 y/o, I was hired as a server assist at a fine dining restaurant. The head server was gay. He was the first person I ever met who was gay. He taught me everything about serving at a fine dining restaurant. He also taught me how wonderful the LGBTQIA community is. Happy Pride Month.❤️

Yeah, I think I will just skip that explicit rape scene in your book. That book without trigger warnings. Because it was published before trigger warnings were a thing. But who writes an explicit rape scene? It's important to write about sex abuse. But to be so explicit... am I wrong? I could be.

I read a lot of books. I like Goodreads. But sometimes the reviews are so fucking ridiculous. I just read a review of a book where they claim the author is racist because the protagonist of the story she wrote was racist. How fucking dumb is that? A good book. They gave 2 ☆

My brother and I found an 18+ dance bar that from 6-8pm served 10 cent tacos and 25 cent beers. We had our tacos and beers. All the younger crowd would wait for the dance party to start. So we would start it with our 'old man dance'. And the entire crowd would rush in. Them we would leave.

As a member of the ASOIAF famdom, I used to debate so many trivial things like timeline. Now that I read whatever good I can get my hands on to, books are all about the emotions they inspire. These novels are not history books; they are stories that invoke emotions. Timelines mean nothing.

I take issue with the church; I have never taken issue with Jesus. Some of his teachings our archaic and wrong but for the most part, he preached love and kindness, acceptance and tolerance. And even though the church won't preach it, he surely did. The gospels are worth reading. Give them a try.
