"My pupils, it's time for another quiz question! Conversion 2 is a move that Porygon and its evolutions learn. It changes the user's type to a type that resists or is immune to the last attack taken by the user. What would happen if the attack taken cannot be resisted or made immune to?"

My question for my students today is this: "I want to make my Pokemon have no type weaknesses. Assuming that my Pokemon doesn't start out with no weakness, such as Eelektross' Levitate nullifying its Ground weakness as soon as it enters battle, how would I go about removing my Pokemon's weakness"

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"You got it! If a Pokemon gets Poisoned, and then evolves while still Poisoned, they'll still be Poisoned even though they're a Steel type." She shakes her head though. "No answer is stupid if you gave it thought, Asahi. I'm very proud of you."

000

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"To be a master Pokemon Trainer, you have to think outside of the box sometimes. That's the sort of thinking I'm looking from you, Asahi. This other way doesn't have to do with an ability, but it does have to do with how a Pokemon's type interacts with evolution."

000

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"I'll give you some extra credit if you can think of a way for a Steel type to be poisoned without using Corrosion, Blue."

000

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"It's not the only way, but it is one way to do it. Can you think of another way that a Poison type can poison a Steel type, Asahi?"

000

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"That's correct! Though this ability only affects a Pokemon's ability to be poisoned, and doesn't affect the damage they take. So a Steel type is still immune to Poison type moves."

000

Roxanne @rustbororox.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

"It's quiz time! The Steel type is immune to being Poisoned. However, there are still two known ways to poison a Steel type, name me one of those ways."
