Rob and I met in a Photo 101 class and bonded over a budding love of taking pictures. We'd hang out in the darkroom for mutual encouragement, chatting, and dreaming about being Nat Geo photographers or whatever.
Two semesters later he tripped, hit his head, and died 10 days shy of his 20th birthday.
