What the fuck do you even say. That's the beauty of the world captured on film. That's a crossing of the threshold into the unknown. This shit is activating pathways in my brain they've really got me now. This is a Normal Shot but. It's just so striking is the thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a heavily forested area, Daigo crosses a wooden bridge suspended via ropes into darkness.

in general, totally awestruck even so little of the way into the first episode how *gorgeous* Tiga is. The miniature work, the sets, the shot compositions, all just. Immaculate. So much went into this. I'm in real danger this show is HITTING and I haven't even gotten to the real swings yet.

FFFUUUUUUUUUUCK YES. WHAT A SHOT.

The sky-rending monster, Melba, a birdlike kaiju with immense blades lining its neck and wings, rises in the dark of night, lit from behind by the Moon, looming large behind it

The first thing to establish is simple: did Geller go to UNC? By his own admission from an interview in 2019, yes he did.

I did not leave the last shop with anything... except closure. After 3 years, I regret to inform you that the $359.99 Klonoa has been sold. The end of an era. I asked one empoyee if they remember it or knew when it sold, but they had no answer. GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (PlayStation, $359.99) with a noticeably faded sleeve.

The inside of the case, with the instruction booklet. The disc was presumably stored elsewhere for safekeeping.

I'm overwhelmingly fond of kaiju suits that think outside of the humanoid box, like Pestar (two suit actors holding hands) or Twin Tail (face by the feet, performer sees out of the tail).

that. Overall, I enjoyed this a lot and came to really love a lot of what it did, even if I found it to be a bit predictable and obvious at times, and I am excited to see where it and its cast goes now that they have shredded their initial bonds of teen angst and confusion that defined them

Bakemonogatari is an extremely straightforward, direct, and honest work about the confusing emotions we feel as we begin to start making the first big connections in ourselves and how to navigate them and not be consumed by them. It respectfully talks to its audience and treats these feelings as

Bakemonogatari Typically, I'm turned off by a lot of works that try to tackle the turmoil of teenage emotions, often finding them unrealistic or kind of shallow, as they inflate and shout about them. But that isn't the case with this, as it tells a real, neat, and earnest story about such things
