Already said this to oomf but Square Enix deserves forty lashes for milking Nier Automata for nearly a decade straight while simultaneously denying Yoko Taro the opportunity to make a new game

it's very interesting to see terms that writers deem to be worth furigana. another weird, specific example I remember is OoT telling you how to pronounce 旗 (flag). then there's DMC5 with 力 (power)

there have been at least 2 moments when I (or another present) mentioned something about practicing basic hygiene, to which someone else replied "erm, but i STRUGGLE with that? it's HARD for me." which is crazy to me. you should not be reacting defensively to being told to remember to wipe your ass

Hey guys, remember when I was asking about spooky Zelda things ? Well. I was serious about it..hehe I miss !nktober stuff so I thought it would be fun to do scary Zelda stuff for the month. I started with what scarred me probably the most, the invasion at Romani Ranch 🛸

what if I finished silver version and got really into pokemon stadium 2. (I need the JP version but who knows how cheap that would be to import right now given the circumstances)

even if this wasn't AI-generated. for literally what conceivable purpose

A sign with a possibly AI-generated "drawing" of a sparkling, wooden starway as seen from the side. It's labeled "Stairs" in cursive, with the first and last letters disonnected from the middle letters.

After seeing endless posts on the importance of “third spaces” I finally found one near me - annndddd it was filled with media illiterate normies who didn’t laugh at my Deltarune references. So yeah, I'll stay ‘terminally online’ - at least until this city has more fandom-friendly pickleball courts

being here has me going "I went to this cool shop, bought this neat stuff, and had a nice chat with the employees :D" but then sometimes I immediately shift to thinking "all of these interactions are transient and I might never see these people again holy fuck I'm so lonely"

what they do to you on bluesky if you like booting up a game and wandering around at your leisure until a fight shows up & then killing all the slimes & drackys instead of rushing to the credits while looking at your watch every 2 minutes so you can log it on backloggd and never think about it again

made it into the city, BUT. the thai restaurant next door to game shop 1 is closed. apparently going to be replaced by a different thai restaurant, but whatever. plan B is an italian restaurant (we don't have those where I'm from) and... it's significantly cheaper than it used to be? that works out
