The ratings? Though the roof. The drama? Tasty. The contestants? Hot as hell. Join writer @runch28.bsky.social and artist @enilapine.bsky.social for this jaw-dropping Bachelor AU!

"Elora decides to move on. “So, what’s your plan when you exit the limo?”

“Try not to trip,” Viktor jokes. Elora shakes her head, so he says, “I honestly don’t know. Powder signed me up. My sister. I just decided to follow through for the experience, I suppose. She’s always telling me I should get out more.” Elora gives him a look, and Viktor knows he needs to get back on track. “I have ten roses—I was going to give him the bouquet and say, ‘Here are ten roses from me, and I hope I get just as many from you’.”

“But…?”

“But I haven’t seen Jayce since I was twelve,” Viktor mumbles, scrubbing the left side of his face with one hand. This is his story. Every contestant needs one, and they’re all going to be fed into the hungry mouths of a future audience just the way production wants them. Viktor’s either expecting a villain edit or something in the vein of the hopeless sweetheart’s ‘second chance’. “He moved away and didn’t visit. I had no money to travel. If he did visit, I was living

Viktor traverses time, space, and everything in between in an attempt to save Jayce from the husk he became as a result of Viktor's attempts to evolve him into something greater. Will he succeed? Find out in this fic from @runch28.bsky.social!

$"It’s beautiful, the feeling of Jayce’s mind colliding with his own. This is glorious evolution, Viktor thinks, applying just a little more pressure to Jayce’s forehead. The pads of his fingers sink through Jayce’s skin and skull like butter, and Jayce’s brain welcomes his touch. Well, not quite. Jayce’s most gorgeous organ, if Viktor dares say so himself, is flickering in and out of a liminal space between the astral and physical plane along with his soul. It’s startling just how close Viktor had already come before gaining this ability. They really… understood each other, once upon a time. As Jayce’s soul oozes out into the open, climbing in rivulets up Viktor’s sinewy fingers and making its way to the very centre of him, Viktor begins to notice something unsettling. Yes, Jayce’s mind is melding with his own, as many others did, but he hadn’t really paid attention to how the soul felt. Jayce’s soul is beautiful and vibrant, and there’s a fracture in there that Viktor planned to sm$
