But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun. 168188164720

Rumena @rumenan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Also helped me in relationships, where conflicts used to arise due to clashing perceptions of things. It has helped with a lot. Has it solved everything? No. Cause knowing isn't the full solution. Like I know there's a pothole in the road and I can sometimes avoid it but it needs to be filled up. 011
Rumena @rumenan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026It also makes me aware of my risk for car accidents and helped me mitigate some of it when trying to learn how to drive, or while biking. So having been diagnosed with ADHD literally saves my life, regularly. 110
Rumena @rumenan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Now I am in a country that believes more in the existence of Baba Yaga than ADHD, so no meds for me. 😡 But knowing about ADHD, and having been diagnosed with depression brought on by late ADHD diagnosis, when I get suicidal now I can deal with it better, know where it comes from and what to do. 210
Rumena @rumenan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Gods, I can't even with their bullshit. Yes, ADHD diagnosis helped me. Didn't solve everything but sure as hell made more things managable and hurt less. 110
