One thing I can’t ever get out of my head is the thought of Sakusa acting all huffy about Kageyama saying he “seems normal” but then later when he gets back to his room being more like “…he thinks I’m normal? 🥰” #sakukage ? #kagesaku ? #tobiomi ? What are we calling them?

I’ve been thinking a lot about Sachirou. I want to write him. But I can’t seem to write lately. And anything I’d have to say right now would involve hurting him too much. I’d like to imagine him happy. I need him to be.

OsaKage try the minus tempo quick together during warmups at the next Spring Tournament, just to make Atsumu crash tf out. This obviously leads to AtsuHina retaliating, and then all four of them trying it in every possible combination. (Except not Hinata setting. He is the spiker princess here)✨

Sliding into BokuAka Exchange WIP Week at the last moment, but here’s a little peek of my fic ✨ #bkak #bokuaka @bokuakaevents.bsky.social

"This is what brought me here," Keiji says. "The contents of this box."

Keiji carefully lifts the lid and gently takes out a leather bound journal and a stack of neatly folded papers that look so aged that Koutarou can imagine them hung up behind museum glass more easily than seeing them on this very normal coffee table on a Tuesday afternoon.

"These belonged to my great-great uncle," Keiji explains, "my great-grandmother's brother. The journal is his. And the letters…"

Keiji fans the folded pages out in front of Koutarou to let him see them, and each one is marked with the same name on the front.

"That's…" Koutarou whispers, running a gentle finger over the characters.

"A family name. Your family name. Bokuto," Keiji says quietly. "All of the letters were written by his childhood friend, Bokuto Eijirou."

Koutarou looks up from the letters and into Keiji's serious eyes that have shifted midnight-dark.

"So, you came here looking for me?"

I love reading fics about my favorite little guys who I only know from the internet. Like the only way I could possibly know more about gego or narusasu or kiribaku or whoever would be to actually finish the source material, but my brain’s gotta be Right for that and it never is.

A concept: ShiraOi? OiShira? Whichever, idc. But Shirabu is a surgeon who specializes in like catastrophic sports injuries and Oikawa’s knee is torn all to hell. An “I can fix him” of both the mind and body, so to speak.

I’ve been writing a lot of Sakusa lately ✨ So much that now he’s tied with Iwa-chan, Semi, Tendou, and Bokuto for 2nd most number of appearances in my fics. Idk that he’ll ever beat out Ushijima at #1 though, because I sprinkle that man on everything I possibly can like seasoning 🤷

Some KyouTsukki friendship for this WIP✨ (Spoiler: he will, in fact, change his mind)

“I have a life now, Kyoutani — a job and a D2 team and a partner and an apartment. I can’t just…”

The line becomes quiet, and Kei knows that Kyoutani is trying to keep his feelings in check.

“I know that,” Kyoutani says quietly after a while, “I do know that. I just miss you is all. I miss having someone around here with more than two brain cells. I miss having a middle with some actual game sense. We got destroyed this year at Kurowashiki, dude.”

“Yeah, I saw,” Kei says in the most apologetic tone he can manage. “I’m really sorry things haven’t been going well.”

The line is quiet again for a moment as Kei keys into his office and then silently hangs his head.

“Just, if you ever did change your mind…” Kyoutani says carefully, or at least as carefully as he will ever be capable of saying.

“I won’t, Kyoutani,” Kei answers, just a bit exasperated.
