Patlabor has had such fantastic designs for Labors, especially how most of the commercial market ones come complete with vehicle patterned lights and license plates! Just gave them such a strangely grounded feeling moreso than most other mecha, you know?

Honestly I'm in the same boat~ I mean I enjoyed my time with it, but I feel like I overall enjoyed AC7's story and set pieces a lot more! (Expected more from the tunnel crawler segment as well) The AI and Crypto-Fediverse subplot really pulled me out of the groove too~

Finished Ace Combat 8's story; I enjoyed it a lot!! I think I liked AC7's more, truth be told, but I think it's mostly down to the bosses and tunnel run segments~ Also the whole social media and crypto fedi-verse component felt dumb as hell; that was a miss for me~ DD can get stuffed in a locker~
