a funny part of how a lot of our early pc gaming experiences were pc deathmatch shooters is that we never actually played them online until later in life and would just spend all our time walking around empty maps looking at things and i think that defines us pretty well in itself

we feel like an less-discussed aspect of video game graphics is how the less realistic a game looks the less anything less than perfect polish stands out, like minor graphical errors in an old game we just completely tune out but if we see a tree act weird in RDR2 our brain focuses on it instantly
