My issue isn’t with UB or not-UB, Horatio. My issue is with established characters and settings being respected and treated well. That goes for both. As a Fallout fan I felt seen. As a Spider-Man fan, I didn’t. I’m hoping we can be seen as Magic fans, too.

This does sound so good. I'm just hoping that the Nautica set avoids the hat set curse.

This set has already got my imagination going, so I'm glad you have this secret to enjoy! I'd genuinely be good if we got these three sets and that was it. Just wish Mystery Booster 2 was print to order ;). That could replace most reprint sets and most Unsets for me.

It's interesting that we don't do blocks, officially, but get Strixhaven and Hexhaven so close together. Soft blocks?

Yeah, I think it might have helped to do another two year preview like they did before. Would have hand least given a little more perspective. It's nice to see the potential, at least, in some of the sets. So, so agree!

Played Magic in person for the first time in a while and it was a Chaos Draft of one pack of Spidey, Turtles and Marvel. None of them sets I was excited about, but the diverse card pool and some very game drafters made it fun and the games engaging. Well worth the time.

Makes sense to me, but I'm sitting in the proverbial choir. Course I mentally classify what is called a rpg nowadays as storytelling games. But my internal terminology is often imprecise.

Totally fair. Just kinda feel at this point the only way to win, ala Wargames, is not to play. (Secret Lairs, not Magic entirely). But I'm a casual player who has no real social media thing going on, so easy for me to just play with what I have and the stuff I want to engage in.

Really not impressed that I can draw a connection between this and Ticketmaster.... But frankly with everything else in the world going on, not worth more than this little rant. I just won't engage anymore that way.

I'm glad I got my D&D movie Secret Lair, Princess Bride, and one of the Kids draw cards charity ones. I'm kinda over the idea of getting in line at a weird time, for the possibility I might be able to buy something at an elevated price if I'm lucky and someone else isn't.

I'm glad people got their Cats (MTG Secret Lairs). I don't do lines much anymore, especially for: Concerts, Black Friday, Software, Movies Secret Lairs... It I can't order it in the evening the day it is available, no thanks. Got plenty of other things to do, other places to spend the money...

For Magic:The Gathering, when did they stop stamping the promo card in the prerelease kit? Sigh.

We are deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Magic legend Kai Budde. His achievements in the game and community go beyond what we could say in one post. Our thoughts go out to Kai's friends and family in this moment. Remembering Kai Budde: magic.wizards.com/en/news/anno...

Math is for blockers. :) So many sets I've never seen most of them, was out of it for a long time. Really wish it was possible to do retro pre-release or draft. So many neat cards :)

I think this TMNT set inside the Lorwyn pre-release is brilliant: It puts the spoilers to the next set in the hands of the players. Instead of content creators and outlets. It highlights what all the Universes Beyond haters feel: Less Magic and more Universes Beyond even in the pure Magic sets.

I came in on the later part of Unlimited, after this set came out, but Urza lands and Strip Mine where everywhere, and Revised put in some faves, and to this day, can't get enough Artifacts.

So many. Lord of the Pit. Force of nature. Lure and Basilisk. Icy and Royal Assasin. Laces and elemental blasts. Magical Hack, sleight of mind. On top of my all time Shivan Dragon. Don't know if I was any good, but it was so much fun. Didn't even realize how good I had it with duals..

I wish I had the words to make people see me as human. To break past the dehumanization. The words that would make everyone understand if they just heard them. I keep imagining there’s some magic arrangement of words I know that could do it - even as I know I can’t. I just got to try and hope.

I remember this. So many games, and I kinda miss a few. Think it is the pity of the format that some of those games just can't just be printed as non collective just so they can be played. Still hard to compete with the game design of magic.

When you gather and show off your enjoyment of the game and its players, we get to share in that. Makes me look forward to finding those things for me. So, thank you. And 1-2-3-Rock!

I'm a very punny person, so I've been hoping to get my hands on these at some point. And I've just been trying not to be discouraged by Hasbro's business practices and enjoy the things I love about Magic. And get more time to play. I know that creators like you are part of what keep me excited.
