Dog food finished. 38 kilos. 10-oz for each bagel. 8-oz each for Jameson and Luna. Glad to have it completed. Now I don’t have to worry about dog food until late-June.

I just started a new brand of basal insulin on Monday, Tresiba, and holy shit 😳, this stuff is like super basal insulin. I usually take 8 units basal at night, but with this Tresiba I think I’ll be cutting it in half. I hadn’t eaten or shot up a bolus for this 55 yesterday, so it was baffling.

Step 3 - Add Native Pet “The Daily” & “Probiotics.” This has to be measured by food amount and dog’s weight. Add dry dog food and chicken stock. Combine really well. Refrigerate and pack tomorrow to freeze, or pack and freeze immediately. 4 hours from start to mixed.

Rice done. Step 2 - Cool everything and combine. This also gets dry dog food and chicken stock. Mix everything until well combined. I’m mixing and refrigerating, because my back is shot. No way I can vacuum-pack it all today.

Homemade Dog Food. Step 1 - Cook all the meat. I have ground turkey, beef, and venison. While the meat is cooking, peel and boil sweet potatoes. Wash and prep rice. 2:1 water to rice ratio. (I added unsalted butter to help prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the stockpot).

$28 for a disgusting pasty gnocchi in a parmesan spinach cream sauce at an Italian restaurant. I would be fucking ashamed of myself to serve this to a guest. Awful! Tastes like the cheese packet for boxed macaroni & cheese, very grainy too, and they used frozen spinach. 🙄 WTF?!
