I dont know if it was fear or respect, but the Nazis left his regime well alone. That says enough. Dont know if you ever saw Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, but it is set in this time in Spain.

It kind of works, in a serendipitous way... 🙃

Social media in a nutshell: human civilisation consuming petawatt-hours of electricity and several billion person-hours annually to make strangers angry at each other about people they had never heard of yesterday. Recommendation: discontinue process.

Trump v. Slaughter gives POTUS far greater control over agencies like the SEC. Good thing he doesn't have his own alt coin that could one day attract scrutiny from that same agency...

National self-interest is a maddening obstacle to cooperation, but hopefully not fatal. We can throw in the towel or seek new ways. Airbus and Eurofighter happened. Maybe not this project in this form, but maybe in partnership with Canada, the UK or others. Coalitions of the willing, if you will.

It's a catch 22 you can either purchase but not activate it or you can activate a pass you didn't purchase... 😈

You can create it, their imagination finishes it. To my cat this clearly would have been a four poster bed. 😁 Anyway, wonderful creation!

At least it looks like there is some realisation that this was maybe, just maybe, indecent behaviour 😂

Awesome job. I agree, piping bags are an abominable invention. Once tried to use one, ended up with whipped cream everywhere but where it was supposed to go.

Colombian has a nice taste with notes of chocolate. I would suggest medium roast, not light, as lighter roasts tend to be more acidic, which can be tough on your taste buds and stomach.

Nice dress. My brain, for a moment, really interpreted this just the way it wanted: as a banana dress

I know it's besides the point, but they did a nice debunking vid on this one time. Basically you can't shoot jack when it is in water, not even in a barrel. The energy is basically lost in the first few inches. It was very interesting to see!

Yes, because "trickle down economics"... I guess billionaires expect poor(er) people to still believe in the tooth fairy.

I think being at war is scary enough. What really scares me is that, on top of that, we're being led by a bunch of warmongers. They don't care for human life, only imagined greatness through power. It's the kind of attitude that brought us WW1 and the huge loss of life of modern warfare.

Of course. Because in the United States everything is under the control of their president. This presidency shows that are actually never were any guard rails on that power.
