GREEDFALL, cont. impressed the dev created their own engine to run the game. the budget & team were small so interior locations are cloned, rural regions are broken into smaller areas & there's little exploring off main paths, but despite that Teer Fradee still has a grand sense of scale.

having bought & used their products for years, I'm suddenly finding it really funny that anyone thinks companies like microsoft, google or nvidia are actually going to produce AGI. I think what they're going to produce is exactly what they have RN, just more expensive & more annoying to use.

a few days after I was born I developed a bad case of bronchitis & had to be taken to a hospital & put in an oxygen tent for a few days. not a great time to be yanked away from one's mother. might explain some of my distrust of doctors and/or living situations. 🤔

playing JAGGED ALLIANCE 3. pretty enjoyable 80s action movie inspired mercenary tactics sim. only downside is there's no hand holding about what to do outside of combat & the UI could be easier to navigate & have better feedback. a bit of trial & error's required. #GameSky 🎮

playing SLOW ROADS, a liminal driving sim. you travel down an endless procedurally generated road (RN there's UK countryside, CA coastal & Mars). there's some options for time of day/season & you can play music from your HDD. you also can set it for autodrive & just zone out. interesting. #GameSky 🎮
