Witch Among Us, the new book by KT Carlisle is available for pre-order now 😀 I backed the Kickstarter for this and can't wait to get my copy. The goal for the Kickstarter was smashed in a few hours of going live. #WitchAmongUs #KTCarlisle #NewBook #Writer #IndependentAuthor

The Kickstarter for Witch Among Us crushed it's goal in a matter of hours. If you haven't backed the Kickstarter, you can still order this mystery novel. I read "I Know What I Saw" and instantly became a K.T. Carlisle fan. Really looking forward to this. 😀 www.amazon.co.uk/Witch-Among-...

I'm not one for football, but that's impressive and would have made me watch the rest of the match.

I've had a quick look at some publishers of short stories. Will need to do a bit more looking into them. I've also finished a short sci-fi story using an unreliable narrator. This was something I've never tried before, so a good writing exercise. How's your weekend been Emily?

Thanks. That's a thought, I hadn't thought about that. I was just thinking about sharing them, as I had done them for the college course.

Heya Emily, Sadly I was a bit run down at the weekend, but feeling better now. I'm thinking of putting a few of my pieces that I've done for college online.

Okey day, I knew that GW did the box, but couldn't remember all the skulls in it. I know that there was a Genestealer Skull in the old Marine Sniper Scouts box, don't remember if there was any other skulls in there as well.

A short story set in a fantasy world. I'm stuck with the middle bit/second act. Something will click, hopefully. How are you doing and what are you writing?

I've also got a fantasy story that needs finishing and a lot of work doing to it. This is why I started doing the writing course, to give me a chance to stretch myself and learn different styles. Hopefully they will help me with improving my writing.

I've got a series of 8 WW2 stories that are needing some work doing to them (the last one needs finishing, the 5th needs a bit of a re-working and the others all need tidying up), but I quite like them. There's a definite solid foundation there.

To be fair, I hadn't written anything for years, until the covid lockdowns. That's when I started writing again. My writing currently gets done in snatched moments with other stuff going on in life.

My brain has big, grand visions, but my concentration when I'm crafting is very "punk rock". I'm generally writing a mini epic & then going back in and filling the spaces. I'm also, very much a pantser - I'll have an idea, or a scene in my head & I just put pen to paper and see where it takes me.

You're welcome Emily. Same here. I'm just plodding on, taking things day by day. I've done a couple more things for the writing course - I attempted a short gothic piece which turned out quite well and I've just finished an attempt at a flash fiction romance story, which I'm not sure about.

Heya Emily, Happy Monday. You're looking very pretty as always 🙂 How are you?

Been trying my hand at a short (flash fiction) romance story. I've never tried writing romance before. See how it is when it's finished.

How have you found the new HE rules? I put Dauntless on a HE Blitzer, when I took them to a local Tournament years ago, in case of meeting Lizards or Black Orcs. I was thinking Dauntless on a White Lion might be a useful idea for a future Tournament.
