We’re about to be doing a whole lot of staying a while and listening

Up until today, i had never noticed how git prints two different messages for noop push and pull, including two different ways to spell "up to date" and now it's bothering me extremely.
Terminal screenshot with the text:
~/code/cal main $ git pull
Already up to date.
~/code/cal main $ git push
Everything up-to-date

Some more work on the shooty thing. We now have a key system, a notification system, and buttons that can activate a list of things, so I can have double doors! #odin #raylib #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

My personal git Raspberri Pi has treated me well so far, so I got it new drip - switched from the official plastic case to an aluminium one and now its running 20 degrees cooler.

This is pretty cool! But if you're like me and code in an external editor, where you can't have stuff like this, there's always the cool hacker route for annotating sections - use ASCII art text

Oh what a day. So, for one, I'm finally running self-hosted Forgejo, all git stuff has been moved there, backups set up, all the good stuff! Unfortunately I burned quite a bit of daylight, because I couldn't figure out why the SSD which I flashed and verified successfully wouldn't boot:

Rolled credits in Forbidden Solitaire. Was pretty hooked, the gameplay is pretty addictive, and both the story and the meta-story were pretty cool! Ran without any problems out of the box on both my linux laptop and Steam Deck!

Desktop is now also on KDE, Day 1. Now I have OS parity between my desktop and laptop. Wondering if it'll lead to both of my computers breaking down at the same time lol. Also only normies post fastfetch screenshots. Real chads post a screenshot from "Info Center"! #linux #cachyos #kde

Back on Gnome, Day 4. A great extension marketplace with a grand selection of extensions. Wish I could install any of them. (this isn't a dig at the extension authors, but rather at Gnome having no consideration for any form of backwards compatibility)
A grid of yellow text saying "unsupported" vaguely overlaid by a screenshot from the gnome extension marketplace from the "Focus Follows Mouse" extension which is also unsupported.

Speaking about smart playlists - shuffle is overrated, just give me tracks ordered by the time passed since I listened to them. #navidrome
A navidrome smart playlist which gives you a hundred tracks ordered by last played timestamp. The JSON:

{
  "name": "100 by play date",
  "comment": "100 tracks you heard way too long ago (sorted by lastPlayed)",
  "all": [{ "gt": { "playCount": -1 } }],
  "sort": "lastPlayed",
  "order": "asc",
  "limit": 100
}
020
rihards paskausks @rp.wtf · 04/04/2026
as much as i love #navidrome, the documentation for Smart Playlists is a bit ass. i know it's in beta, but there could be more examples. Wanted to reference another playlist, and didn't get how the inPlaylist operator works, so here's a working example if you happen to be in the same trouble:
JSON example of a smart playlist that gives never played tracks in a random order from a playlist with a specific id.

here's the JSON:

{
  "name": "breaks unplayed",
  "comment": "Never played from the BREAKS playlist",
  "all": [
    { "is": { "playcount": 0 } },
    { "inPlaylist": { "id": "dVX0hgcj4JJFjTs66xpEqI" } }
  ],
  "sort": "random",
  "limit": 100
}

SilvanaBanana, wherever you are at the moment, I hope that someone gifts you your favorite ice cream! In my case, I was scratching my head why "_unhandled_input()" didn't do anything. Turns out, for a dynamically attached script, even if the method is defined, processing is disabled.
A screenshot from the Godot forums from user SilvanaBanana, dated Nov 12, 2020 with the text "In case someone else is facing this problem when creating a node and assigning the script in code: the answer above works, node.set_process(true) did the trick."

I think you're overcomplicating things here. Here's how I'd do it:

func either_is_true(...bools: Array) -> bool:
	var booleans: Array[String] = []
	for boolean: bool in bools:
		booleans.append_array(str(boolean).split(""))

	booleans.sort_custom(
		# needs to be updated in case they change "false" to something else.
		func(a: String, _b: String) -> bool:
			return a != "f" and a != "a" and a != "l" and a != "s" and\
					a != "e" and a != "r" and a != "u"
	)

	return booleans[0] == "t"

Just tried this. Really fast (0,04s) on a ~800 line file on my machine! This could be our Prettier equivalent. Basically run-and-forget as a pre-commit/on-save hook. Love that you can set it to respect the function order as defined in the official style guide! nvim setup instruction in screenshot.
